The agents trying to sell these dinosaur properties obviously don't want certain information disclosed to their inexperienced potential buyers. It's always a good idea to do your own research before taking a plunge. You really don't want unwelcome surprises from local taxing entities and utility companies, etc. New homebuyers are often ignorant about what to expect in the future. There's a lot of potential for unforseen manipulation and surprises. Just remember that rule of thumb: "buyer beware". 🥴
I passed on a beautiful 6000sq ft modern home for that reason. The property was heated with propane. The agent wouldn’t give me costs, but gave me the delivery manifests for 1 year, from which I calculated an annual HEATING bill of $25,000. Add to that cooling costs, and the annual costs were more than doubled above what is paid for mortgage, taxes and insurance.
I'd buy one and turn it into a phasing house for Foster kids to learn what they need to before they go out and get their own apartments. Maybe do rehabilitation in one wing
Wonderful idea I’ve been blessed to raise children in need I always say if I hit the lottery I would buy a big home with lots of land and close to the ocean give them all the best
@@mysty0 Not looking to give them the kind of care that the government pays for you know the perversion the child abuse period. I'm not looking at it as a money making venture
You can but them cheap. And then spend millions renovating them, heating and cooling them and the property taxes will be higher than the purchase price.
Beautiful homes but expensive. It would take a lot of time to care for the houses and grounds, but it was fun to watch these beautiful homes. Someone who is good at fixing things and with money to hire maid and grounds keeper, these would be nice homes. Some of them are not in the best location.
Lovely houses the only thing I wanna know is how much land in included, because I don't want any close neighbors. I've had too many bad experiences with neighbors.
I was looking online at homes away from London recently. You can get a LOT for around $1.2-3m if you're willing to live quite far out from places (think, Northumbria or Somerset).
'DOn't use IG. What are the contingencies to a CHEAP MANSION? Nine times out of ten there is a HUGE obstacle for these properties to be selling at that price point...IJA!
Thank you Kyle for this very cool video. Also, Thanks for sharing the house in Lakewood New York that is in my home town in which I lived 3 streets down from that house. The only thing that sucks about the Lakewood house that they had all of the beautiful led glass taken out by the new owners and replaced it with regular class. Thanks again. 😎👍🤘🫶🏻
Agreed. Why so cheap? Must be something wrong. Haunted or something. Someone murdered there and therefore a stigma. IDC how cheap and beautiful, I am not living with an unhappy ghost
ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS MESSAGE ME ON INSTAGRAM @KYLEMCGRAN
how can I see if these homes are still available?
Can afford it until you get your first electric and gas bill then you'll be right back out the door. It's a shame skyrocketing prices
Nobody guaranteed you cheap gas
YOU ARE RIGHT

The west end St Louis MO house is in an area with some really beautiful homes however the area isn’t very safe. Which is really a bummer. 😢
You can but them cheap. And then spend millions renovating them, heating and cooling them and the property taxes will be higher than the purchase price.
You should do a little better job of describing where these properties are at
Wow the history of these homes are amazing. Its just sad how empty they are and just going to waist. Great video. Bless you
Really enjoying these videos. Keep Orange Crushing It!
I really enjoyed the video, thanks!
Upkeep, utilities, taxes and more need to be considered.
hi Kyle nice video hope you guys be safe out there 🙏🙏 good to know about the history of the home, s hope to see more videos ❤️ you guys
Must be Haunted? Something is wrong.
Mansions that anyone can afford must have something wrong with them.
they either have ghosts with bad attitudes or worse... termites!

My FAVORITE HOME 🏡 🏠
IS YOUR COVER.
GOD BLESS 🙏
THE PEOPLE WHO
CAN TAKE CARE
OF THIS HOME
FOR $80.000 xx
FEBRUARY 2023 💞💞💞
In California and some other places families were buying these and living together
None of them are located where majority want to reside. Taxes, maintenance, utilities eat you alive, along with crime and politics of area.
Absolutely cool video thank you For sharing looking forward to more
great video!
regardless how “cheap” these homes are you still have to heat them in the winter which would cost a fortune!!!🤔🤔🤔
First home,. Beautiful front porch! Perfect!
Captain haunting that house
Thanks for showing these great homes.
Lovely houses the only thing I wanna know is how much land in included, because I don't want any close neighbors. I've had too many bad experiences with neighbors.
Interested but pls where are the location?
What state? All states duplicate town names.
Beautiful Homes.
What state is the Folger Estate in.
How can I buy the $80,000 dollar mansion?
As shown on the thumbnail.
THANK YOU 🙏🏻
Beautiful homes the first one is my favorite do you know if any of these are haunted Thanks 👍👍
Need the addresses.... Great selections.
where is the Folger Mansion?
Gorgeous homes ❤ Subscribed 11-03-22 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Where is the Folger Estate Mansion located?
Where's the second house located? Lakewood, what??
I can't even imagine what the property taxes are.
Well, mine in WA suck. My guess taxes for everyone is why people want out.
Fantastic Video ! Kyle
Please mention the location also
Well you get very innovated and it into small apartments for getting away from the hot cities. Eli maintain it..
Where’s the Folger mansion located??
So, mansion for $80,000 was click bait. Got it!
beautiful
Very interesting, thank you.
Hello. Beautiful homes! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
All of those mansions were beautiful
Capt Nickels Inn sold in 2019. And the same family has owned it since.
Some of those homes seem too good to be true! They all look like they are in good repair & would cost a fortune in the UK.
I was looking online at homes away from London recently. You can get a LOT for around $1.2-3m if you're willing to live quite far out from places (think, Northumbria or Somerset).
Wow so beautiful homes
Nice update
Love house no 2 price is reasonable also
So the smallest house here would cost about 10m up in my city.
In San Diego small house 2 beds 1 bath 1000 sqf for 800 k to a 1 M😬😬😬😬
😲😳 that's ridiculous and sad to much much wasted
Thanks awesome video
how can I see if these homes are still available?
Not "Anyone Can Afford" - You need around $1 million dollars to afford most of them.
Did anyone notice at 11:00 that the address plaque on the landscape retaining wall is upside down? lol.
I’d be too afraid of taxes.
Beautiful 🤩
I am rom Canada. Do you ever find one here that is cheap. Thanks.
Which state are this mansions
Where is the Folger estate located?
'DOn't use IG. What are the contingencies to a CHEAP MANSION? Nine times out of ten there is a HUGE obstacle for these properties to be selling at that price point...IJA!
Some of these are reasonable for the beautiful home and property! Thanks Kyle!

Omg amazing 🤩
Agree something must be wrong

So, the rich grandparents in Gilmore Girls, wheren't actually THAT rich.....?
Amazing
I wish you would have done the houses in descending order from most expensive to least
I could do that in future videos for sure!
Where are the cheaper properties?
I need to see those 😢
8,75,000 for your own seashore, that's a steal...
Is furniture included?
Are you sure about these prices? The Folgers one says 8 million.
Say and print out specifically where house"s are!
If these homes are still for sale, how do i get the addresses?
I enjoyed watching ... beautiful homes..but for me personally massive homes are just to much..
Y
Wow
These homes might be great for high income earners (mid 6 figure earners) and single digit millionaires but not your average earner lol
Cap. Sign me up for an affordable mansion 😎🇺🇸❤️👍
This title is misleading. The taxes and insurance on a house like this in a year alone Would be out of most people's reach Let alone the upkeep
you should post the property taxes for them. i bet the taxes are so high that no one wants them.
Don't some of these people ever stop to consider that too much of a good thing is a bad thing?
Just give it away ⭐
Wow!
I would buy it
Kyle you buy one.
I can't afford any of these!
Hon, Peoria is pronounced Pee-OH-ree-uh.
location, location, location...
That's all?
lakewood, kookamonga? wtf is it?
Wish there was one in Eastern North Carolina, I sure would buy it.
I don’t care how nice some of these are…I will never live in a blue state
No vendería
And the 80.000 one?......click bait eh
You can buy but can’t repair it
Pershing Place is in a dangerous area. I would not live there.
Why aren't they selling not very in depth story
There is no way these homes are on the market for those prices.
in those cities, they absolutely could. The one in Peoria Illinois, I lived near there and yes those old amazing homes are a steal.
