    • @errtrainer
      @errtrainer 9 лет назад +3

      Boxing Forum I agree that he was one of a kind. But, you know, boxing is about styles. And we'll never know things like "who is the best of the best ever". Boxers are human beings, not superheroes. Unpredictable, complex.And even Superman has to deal with kriptonyte.

      errtrainer whenever I say someone is the best I categorize, like this, Floyd is the best skill wise, Roy Jones is the best Speed/power fighter, I do agree with what you are saying however

    Don’t let anybody tell you what you can’t do. You have to love what you want, and want what you love. And once you get that in your mind nobody can you stop you.

    Roy should have stayed at heavyweight. Going back to his "normal" weight was maybe his biggest mistake in boxing.

    Ron Borges from the Boston Globe appears on these boxing docs and just....gets on my tits. Laughing at his own irreverent inane cracks, he's his own greatest fan and definitely feels he's the smartest guy in the room I just can't imagine why people would want this guy all the time....invariably wrong and run by his prejudices, his comments amount to the amount substance contained in a gossip column.
    On a Tyson vs Lewis documentary one of Tyson's corner men disclosed that Tyson on coming back to his stool after the first round told him that Lewis had hurt him.
    "Of course he's gonna hurt him" chirped Ron laughingly,"What else is he gonna do, pet him?"
    Considering a fighter is full of adrenaline and may only be hurt only a couple of times in a fight or sometimes not at all, someone being hurt in the first round is in no way par for the course and more than a little significant.
    What benefit are these type of idiotic comments to anybody?

    • @skotiskiller
      @skotiskiller 8 лет назад

      Also when he says to Roy to punch him here and there and shut down his radar ... like the other guy doesn't have hands.Roy be like "Yeah , yeah...".

    • @tonypaella

      He's a known Tyson hater. You can tell by his comments. Also the only one to pick Holyfield to beat Tyson. Because he hated Tyson. He always rubbed me the wrong way too because he was just Snyde and not objective.
