He is not overrated ... with this bad quality video he still had amazing voice ! He is very much underrated and not really famous, his voice is unique, not many singers accomplish that.

Despite the cheese factor, "Awakening" and "A Flame" should seriously be Power Metal 101, Daniel has a fire in his voice that is incredible. BUY THOSE ALBUMS while you can. They are classic. I honestly don't see them continuing as incredibly without Daniel. The Heed stuff is pretty good, though.

I really hope you realise that In Flames is Melodic Death Metal now and At The Gates are also of that genre. Death Metal is bollocks in my eyes, whilst Melodic Death Metal is the most incredible music there is. Power Metal is like a less heavy Melodic metal therefore its good.
