I have been there this year, very interesting place - need to add my movie to YT to show, how me as a foreigner have seen this place. Your movies from Japan were inspiration to visit Tokyo. Thanks mate
Other thing I wated to ask if I may, aqt around the 9:33 mark, what did the 50's mean that were painted on the street. couldnt have been the speed limit could it????
Thanks for posting these interesting videos. One recommendation: You should walk faster or try to introduce more natural "walking motion" as I find the slow-moving floating feel off putting. Is it possible to turn down the dampening effect of the (presumably expensive) stabiliser tool you use?
+Mr H walking motion is just too unbearable to watch. As of walking faster, this is actually tricky. I have to not only handle where the camera goes, but I also have to be careful of where I walk and finally I have to dodge people that, most of the time, do not care about their surrounding. I walk slowly in order to anticipate as much as possible what's going on around me as well as giving me enough flexibility to speed up a little my pace to avoid someone.
At what point did the city have to make the decision that cars weren't allowed down these streets? Were tourist causing to many problems with traffic flow?
Hi Dylan. This is explained in the video (subtitle, show more...). The street is ONLY close the Sunday for pedestrians to enjoy the area. The City also give people the chance to rest with many tables and chairs.
This is Ginza for you, the same in pretty much every everywhere in the world for such place. In Paris (Champs-Élysées) you have more tourists than actual French ;-).
Many single women who run restaurants in the 'Entertainment' Ginza and other entertainment areas of smaller towns are Madams running brothels for rich clients. You might never be rich enough or Japanese enough to know what's really going on.
better than manhattan new york. pot holes and faded street marking everywhere. buildings in new york look old and outdated painted to make it look "traditional"
This was Amazing
Ginza is gorgeous. Love watching videos of affluent metropolitan cities like this.
Thank you, You helped me to see Ginza St, sitting in my own home. Very clean and well dressed Japanese.

Wondering whats the reason for the road closure? When i visited tokyo in May, Akihabara had a bunch of roads closed,
During the weekend, mostly the Sunday, Tokyo close up some streets for people to enjoy a good walk.
Ah that makes sense, when i went to Akihabara during my trip on a sunday alot of the streets around akihabara were closed
Wow....best walking in ??? Video i have ever seen. Is this osmo with z-axis? There is 0% up and down movement. I miss japan!
Yep... more here www.tokyostreetview.com/approved-gear/
OMG! H.R. Puff'n'Stuf
Is it traffic free on during holiday
Free on Sunday
Do you have a night time version with all the lights? :)
Will do one soon ;-)
Is this road always closed to traffic as per this video or was this a special event that that just closed it for it???
This road is, I believe, closed every Sundays to the traffic.
xD this camera makes it seem like you are about to walk right into a bunch of people. I was like watch out for the obaachan!
Whats your gimbal?

the video author is not japanese so where did you come from?
France, but does that really matter? ;-)
Where did you put that camera on ?
Go and check our list of approved gear on your website to know more ;-)
日本穿衣似乎非常保守,90%以上為全身黑色、白、灰,少許的淺棕或米色。所以視頻中哪些人是遊客很容易分辨,全身各種色彩的就是了! XD
Where's the cars?
Most Sunday the street are closed to cars and can be enjoyed as such.

Looks like there are more tourists than actual Japanese.

Champs-Élysées might look cooler but Ginza is definitely 10 times cleaner and safer. Sorry
Don't be sorry, I agree with you on this. France as a lot to learn from Japan on both accounts.
Yeah i agree.
mhh? No cars on the street ?? Sunday or a Car-Free-Day ??
Yep!
Many single women who run restaurants in the 'Entertainment' Ginza and other entertainment areas of smaller towns are Madams running brothels for rich clients. You might never be rich enough or Japanese enough to know what's really going on.
How to get there
они что там асфальт пылесосят ?)
better than manhattan new york. pot holes and faded street marking everywhere. buildings in new york look old and outdated painted to make it look "traditional"
see no vending machines in ginza. are vending machines for poor people?

Meanwhile in Paris ...
銀座に観光客多いイメージなかった。
これからの日本は観光客に支えられる部分もあると思う。
