Riku will forever be the funniest Xenoblade character. Just when you think you kinda understand his character, the game hits you with "Oh yeah he's also chill with the queen of Keves" in the last 2 hours of the game and refuses to elaborate
Noah/N is really funny in the grand scheme of things. Shulk was used as part of Zanza's plan. Rex's destiny was to become the aegis driver. Meanwhile, Noah is some guy that loved catgirls enough to break the rules of the world itself over and over.
@MrWanton16 FUTURE REDEEMED SPOILERS Noah (and co) was probably set up by Alvis. There's a pretty interesting theory as to Alvis seeing it all and preparing a plan to make the "7th Noah" (current) happen. Alpha and A splitting, the whole plot of Future Redeemed, etc... All seen ahead, Alvis' quote at the end of 1... An arduous journey, but a necessary one to move ahead of the present (in 2 they learnt how to build from the past, and in 1 to tackle the future, 3 is to deal with the present choice)
You can barely see it for a fraction of a second but at the very end, when the worlds separate, Taion falls on his knees as he can't reach Eunie anymore. Man that is what always, always gets me .
You can also see when Sena and Lanz do the fist bump at the end of their final scene, Sema starts to cry, and that also gets me. Man, what a game this is... No wonder I come back and watch playthroughs of this again and again... I'm addicted to watching people's reactions to all the emotional bits and best moments of this game (and all of Xenoblade really)
@kippin2152 I always saw it also as kind of the regret about not telling her his true feelings. A "there's so much i need to tell you but I lost my chance to do it" kind of thing. Ofc the gang might meet up again in the future but in that moment the realisation crushed him. And again nothing is told or shown beside just a few frames. Man xenoblade is so good.
I've seen way too many playthroughs of this game, but yours by far is one of my favorites. It was one hell of an amazing journey Now on to Future Redeemed!!
Ok so to give you a little more explanation on who and what Z REALLY is since its very cryptic and most people dont figure it out. Think back to the ending of xenoblade 1, shulk used alvis to reboot the world with the command "The future should be decided by everyone in the world, so what i wish for is a world with no gods". Then look what happened next, the whole world looks up and sees alrest crashing down into the planet so what do they do? Everyone seeing that would cry out "make it stop" or "save us", then suddenly Z just appears out of literally nowhere and freezes both worlds in time, containing all the lives of both worlds inside origin Z is literally shulk's wish given form. Shulk said the whole world should decide the future, and the whole world all at once just wanted the crash to stop so the wish created a being to stop it. This is why he keeps saying he's "the will of the world" and not truly an individual. If you understand this, Z comes off as a more compelling villain than just "random bad guy suddenly appeared with god like power"
takahashi also said that they wanted to try and tackle Z and and the other villains in a more conceptual way too. (which is why many of the villains lack names, backstories, and personality. something i feels works in some ways and doesnt in others tbh but anyway.) it's almost as if the main villian of this game is societal structure, and the inherit hierarchy of power, in and of itself. Z embodies this struggle that we all have in our daily lives, the want to break free of the status quo and endless now of society.
So if the whole world chose the "now"... was Rosseau wrong? Cause it feels like a world with no gods is just as bad as a world with a god that hates your guts or doesn't even think you have guts.
Ooooh, this makes more sense now. I had my hunch that he’s Origin AI gone rouge. This is revealed in the Future Redeemed DLC, right? Now I have to get that DLC!

Wish I could have joined for this stream, but timezones mean I would have been up til 7am to watch the whole thing. I’m so glad you enjoyed this game. Xenoblade is a special series, and it’s always great seeing someone fall in love with it
I am very happy to have followed this journey. Congratulations, Dee. I knew you would recognize the greatness of this masterpiece throughout your lives. Most people I came into contact with didn't like how many things within the story are left to symbolism to explain and are not worked out in words, just as they didn't like the fact that the villain is a concept of people's fears. We can take many different messages from the symbolism and absorb the story in unique ways. I just love it because it makes so much sense. "All of you... You were not in anyway different from us, before."-Klaus. Human beings were bound to make the same mistakes. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the biggest mistake, because it was collectively wished by humanity. It wasn't just a single guy pushing a button. Origin follows what it was programmed to do, unite the two worlds, but humanity's Moebius wish makes this happen in the worst possible way. Humanity repeats Klaus experiment in their own way. I hope you have the same fun and excitement with Future Redeemed.
Zed HATES the world he created, but he cannot escape it because he refuses to move forward. So he petulantly lashes out at the lives of those there because there is NOTHING else he can do. He has no real power
Idk he does try to espouse the benefits of his world. It’s not “this is better than nothing” but he speaks to what he sees as the genuine value of reincarnation and eternal war
@inquisitor9207 He's espousing it to himself. The self righteous posturing of the nihilist. When all is said and done, he screams out how much he hates what the world is
@@inquisitor9207 I view him similar to AM from I have No Mouth and I Must Scream. He is humanity's jailer and he is every bit shackled to them as they are to him. Or perhaps a better comparison would be the machines in the Matrix. Z created a world that people "wanted" and kept changing their minds and trying to escape. he loathes humanity because they keep trying to fight him when in his mind he's just doing what they want.
Usually when DeeBeeGeek finishes a game, he claps and applauds, part celebratory and part appreciation of its makers. This time, just stunned silence as the credits start to roll. What a true masterpiece.

maybe Xenoblade Trilogy is one of many game i want to recomend for people who wanna exoerience an amazing roller coster of story that game could bring.
Brilliant to see more appreciation for this game. The comment about it being a movie is spot on, the cut scenes were just so good. That final scene with them all trying to run to each other just pulls at the emotions like so many other moments through the game. Noah's final monologue about moving foward, choosing a path and walking on, really stuck with me. I even quoted it in a fairwell email when I left my previous job. And I'm sure it's been said but I'll say it again. Remember when Rex said "I love you....and all you guys"....that just hits so different now doesn't it haha. Also Taion freaking out when Eunie said he was her 4th best mate, and then when I realise after that her favorite thing is Fourtune Clovers and 4 is her fav number. I now smile even more everytime I see that scene and Eunie with the cheeky grin while Taion freaks out. Such a great game on so many levels it is ridiculous. Can't wait for the Future Redeemed playthrough
Thank you so much for playing these games. I'm so glad you loved it. And I cannot wait for your playthrough of the DLC One of us! One of us!! One of us!!!

Glad to have joined your xenoblade journey since 2! When ever I think back to some of my favorite switch games, Xenoblade 3 is always one of the first ones that comes to mind haha The story, the score, the combat so much about this game is just simply amazing!!!
Looking back, the assault to Origin reminds me a lot of the assault on the Lifehold in XCX. I can’t wait to see what the cutscenes in XCX2 would look like after what they did in 3
Notice that one of the flutes in the post credits scene is high pitched… and Noah smiles as if in recognition. I think you can fill in the gaps as to who was playing the high pitched flute. Even better, there’s a familiar low pitched tune as well 😊 “I won’t let go. Not ever. Not until we meet again.”
It was such a pleasure watch you go thru this wonderful experience, XC3 saved me from my deepest depression back in the end of 2022, and the final monologue echoed in my so hard that I can recite word by word. THANK YOU DEE
So happy you made it to the finish line! So so happy to welcome another person into this amazing and truly breathtaking franchise! Can’t wait for your Future Redeemed content! ONE OF US!!
the point of Noah throwing away the sword at the end is two pronged: Melia said the wielder for the Sword of the End is the champion of the desires within Origin and thus uses the Sword to carve the future. Throwing the Sword forward was the trigger for Origin to reactivate and finish the Intersection. It is also a showing that in a way, Noah rejected that role. He doesn't want to be the one to make the choice for everyone, so he "throws it away"
I love how the N fight has a unique theme who’s two halves only play in their respective phases. It makes the vocal kick in during phase 2 much more impactful 😢
Maybe it's unreasonable, but I kind of want the Future Redeemed stream to start with Dee reacting to the ONE trailer we got out of the blue a week before the DLC released. You just had to be there.
I personally feel like Xenoblade 2 had the best ending and Yggdrasil, or the World Tree, was the perfect final area. But Xenoblade 3's ending is also just so good. It's phenomenal
Hey man, I just found out your channel trough your XB3 playtrough since you posted chapter 5, I gotta recommend you play Future Redeemed man. Good playtrough.
Z has the same perspective as a game creator, with the other Moebius as gamers. They live in fear of the future and change, so they watch youths to fight over and over to absorb the willpower they lack. As Mio says, Aionios is a world of fiction. Moreover, Z's snapping sound is actually the same as the Nintendo Switch snap sound effect.
One day, I hope to see your son son come into your room, while you cry yours eyes out from these scenes. One of my favorite endings of any game. And the musical numbers just hits. It is a crime that this game had no awards… what other games did come out that year?
I can’t get over Dee crying for the whole end of the stream, then when he notices what’s in the photo he completely snaps out of it 😂😂😂. “………….HAWHhh??!!”
Wanting things to stay the same is a natural human desire, but not only does that cause undue harm for others around us, but it limits our own potential for growth and new experiences. It's probably not something we are even conscious of most of the time, but Xenoblade 3 forces us to consider it.
to have stable living and just repeat live is basically most human social works this days. but there is people that wanna break from that repeatance cycle. if your dad having sucess as doctor or goverment employe dosent that mean you need follow your dad step because you force too. but knowing and having knowledge of 'how confort to be stable' is human like. thats why despite having very short live Noah and his friend really brave to challenge the 'forever present' which if its me i might just be run or joining morbius like N did.

Also I need to say thankyou so very much for your play through I’ve loved every single part I appreciate your views and opinions not to mention love your feelings and emotions 🎉😊makes me so very happy and DeeBee your so awesome
The ending was the player becoming Moebius all along.
THIS!
The golden clock that appears after you save a completed file is no coincidence
The postgame of xc3 is literally moebius, on a meta level
@@vianabdullah2837 It was fated
6:10:05 He really did show them a thing or three
The absolute main reason to own a switch and look forward to a switch 2 is this incredible franchise. Can’t wait to see the FR reactions!
The stories of XC1 and XC2 begin and end with Aion. An age, fated by Klaus' experiment. When the worlds collide, it is Aionios- an age without end
Aionios
When all is said and done, he screams out how much he hates what the world is
I thought Z meant he hated the world that wasn’t Aionios, the one that existed before he froze time.
I’m not watching this vod specifically!
Because I saw it live!
Now that you've beat the game, load your latest save file and track down any new question marks on the map...
As a wise RUclips Let's Player once said: "In a JRPG, there are ALWAYS giant robots..."
All I can say is thank you. Thank you for not only playing in my opinion one of the best games ever made, but thank you for reviving a community. We were small but thanks to you so many more eyes are now on this game. Thank you man for this incredible journey
...I cannot wait for the Future Redeemed playthrough and even more peak.
although its never outright stated i think its highly implied that the original mio is nias daughter. whenever theres a scene between them nia always smiles at her and it seems like she wants t say something but stops herself probably becuase its not really her mio anymore
he hasn’t seen this scene yet! it’s in the post game
@@echowhosthis theres plenty scenes before pg. almost every meeting wih nia
@@brandonwithnell612 there’s a few, but it’s not really made more apparent until post game, is it? i feel like all the youtubers i’ve watched play the game don’t rly say anything about it until then

@@inquisitor9207 all im saying is let dee make those realizations on his own, he literally played post game the next day
Dee, this was everything I was hoping to see in your play-through of my favorite game of all time. It felt like getting to experience it for the first time all over again.
I’m happy you enjoyed it so much and it was worth the wait. I never lost hope that you would get around to it!
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing Future Redeemed!
maybe Xenoblade Trilogy is one of many game i want to recomend for people who wanna exoerience an amazing roller coster of story that game could bring.
And I cannot wait for your playthrough of the DLC
One of us! One of us!! One of us!!!
It makes me so happy that Dee takes the time to appreciate the amazing music the game has
15:52
I LITERALLY was about to go to bed now. Sigh, alright, gonna watch this first. Priorities! Also congrats on finishing this, DeeBee. See you in your Future Redeemed-reaction!
Glad to have joined your xenoblade journey since 2!
When ever I think back to some of my favorite switch games, Xenoblade 3 is always one of the first ones that comes to mind haha
The story, the score, the combat so much about this game is just simply amazing!!!
Looking back, the assault to Origin reminds me a lot of the assault on the Lifehold in XCX. I can’t wait to see what the cutscenes in XCX2 would look like after what they did in 3
2:03:49 Jamming out to the Chain Attack music. It's such a banger! I hum along pretty much every time I hear it
Xenoblade series change my Thoughts about life
@@Jorge-jz7tw I heard that from people who played Persona 3
Notice that one of the flutes in the post credits scene is high pitched… and Noah smiles as if in recognition. I think you can fill in the gaps as to who was playing the high pitched flute. Even better, there’s a familiar low pitched tune as well 😊
“I won’t let go. Not ever. Not until we meet again.”
True, but then that begs the question. Who was playing the other flute? Crys?
@@omgray I meant that those two tunes playing together were a clue that boy met girl, both of them remembered their own tunes.
can't wait for the post ending commentary in your next stream!
My breaking point: 5:55:08
Taion falling to his knees. 😭
I think I speak for all of us when I say I CANNOT wait for the dlc playthrough.
Also I agree Xenoblade Chronicles is peak game!
Thank you for posting these VODs. I tried watching the stream today, but got busy at work and missed all of the juicy bits.
You can't say you beat the game until future redeemed because that DLC seals the deal in the hole Klaus Saga.
4:19:40 you can tell someone's engrossed in the majesty of a scene when they slow-walk the character...
It was such a pleasure watch you go thru this wonderful experience, XC3 saved me from my deepest depression back in the end of 2022, and the final monologue echoed in my so hard that I can recite word by word. THANK YOU DEE
I replayed the game because of you DB. Thanks man.
So happy you made it to the finish line! So so happy to welcome another person into this amazing and truly breathtaking franchise! Can’t wait for your Future Redeemed content! ONE OF US!!
Engagement comment! Was there live and loved it, would love a video like you did for chapter 5 (if you feel like it obv)
I remember i was stuck for months , crying for this endgame, man , so good.....
the point of Noah throwing away the sword at the end is two pronged:
Melia said the wielder for the Sword of the End is the champion of the desires within Origin and thus uses the Sword to carve the future. Throwing the Sword forward was the trigger for Origin to reactivate and finish the Intersection. It is also a showing that in a way, Noah rejected that role. He doesn't want to be the one to make the choice for everyone, so he "throws it away"
The World -Ends- Begins With You
Wait wrong franchise
I love how the N fight has a unique theme who’s two halves only play in their respective phases. It makes the vocal kick in during phase 2 much more impactful 😢
Not only that but the first half is the Moebius theme and the second half is the Ouroboros theme, showing his will as Moebius cracking
@@emblemblade9245 And N isn’t even called “Moebius N” anymore when you fight him for the last time, he’s just “N” at that point
This entire let's play was crazy 🎉
At 5:53:30 you can see him react to the real meaning of Rex saying "I love you... And all you guys!". Rex. The chad
Actually he was too distracted by the cameo to actually notice, his real reaction to that comes near the end of the video
Maybe it's unreasonable, but I kind of want the Future Redeemed stream to start with Dee reacting to the ONE trailer we got out of the blue a week before the DLC released.
You just had to be there.
I mean, anything we’d want him to react to is in the first cutscene
Thanks for sharing this playthrough with us Dee! Easily one of your best ❤
I love Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch Family of Systems
We are ready!
Umm…does this mean Z is literally flowey?! 😵💫
"What in the name of Deathly Hallows Part 2" ROFL
One day, I hope to see your son son come into your room, while you cry yours eyes out from these scenes.
One of my favorite endings of any game. And the musical numbers just hits. It is a crime that this game had no awards… what other games did come out that year?
5:52:38GAMING !!!
MAN, you really need to give a shot to Xenogears and Xenosaga 😭😭😭
Now on to the DLC.
I can’t get over Dee crying for the whole end of the stream, then when he notices what’s in the photo he completely snaps out of it 😂😂😂. “………….HAWHhh??!!”
If Z taught me anything, it's that the things we wish for collectively are nightmares that none of us would elect for individually.
@@Mnemoniforma9.00 We do love making things worse for ourselves on accident
Oh man just taking in the music before heading to Origin. Sometimes I go back and watch the trailers for this game and I go "oh yeah, they used THAT song" and I get it, it's 100% epic adventure in music form
5:14:36 She say it!!
SHE SAY THE LINE!!!!!
My favorite part of this game was when Melia said “All is for the Future Connected” and then Connected the Future. It was a wonderful moment.
Now we're ready for future redeemed!
It was amazing!!!! You need to start the DLC Future Redeem now!!
