Each Soto has a different taste, topping ingredient and mixed together. The name Soto is always followed by the name of the place, town, city, province or area where the Soto originates, such as Soto Betawi, Soto Banjar, Soto Makasar, Soto Padang, Soto Babat, Soto Madura and so on.*

Banyak makanan Indonesia yang akan terasa enak dinikmati pada suasana tertentu, misalnya mendoan akan terasa nikmat ketika dinikmati saat turun hujan dan dingin.

Saran saya sih kepada Benson, selain bikin food blogging coba buat juga video tentang budaya Indonesia.., seperti si Bang Joe itu yang sering buat funny things videos about Indonesian culture.., biar isi channelnya Beson jadi lebih beragam.
The choices of food are very good, all are my faves! But I think you should’ve known first how the authentic recipes taste & look like, so that you could’ve found better restaurants / warung 🤣 I looked at those dishes you’re serving and knew straight away they were not gonna taste as good. Good job tho!

My opinions on these foods:
- Soto Betawi: not my favorite. The taste isn't exactly my type. Instead, I opt for the variant from Bogor instead (Soto Bogor).
- Ketoprak: My favorite Jakartan dish. I used to find myself buying one every week when I was still in college. The sellers usually sold one for Rp10k IIRC.
- Dodol: Ah yes, I like this one too - but not this one variant. My favorite is the dry version of it. If you ever wondering where to buy the best dodol in Jakarta, you should come to Condet, East Jakarta.

To be quite honest the presentation of the soto betawi here looks disgusting for my eyes. Even tho I am Jakartan and I like soto betawi, but looking this one, I would never touch it, and it ruins the originality of it, that people especially foreigner or someone who never seen it will has a bad impression at first look, no matter how good the taste of it. As if we order/buy it at warung/resto, the rice never be mixed with the rice. If I may suggest, please do research first if you wish to presenting something coz i found that another video which i ever saw before also has a similar issue. However, it is really good that you put a big efforts to present and to introduce Indonesian food to the world and thats I do really appreciate it, good job and thanks!

I'm Indonesian, and I don't know what denak is. If you say denak to an Indonesian they won't know the word. The opposite of enak is tidak enak. Or maybe in some places in Jawa or Bali there is dialect ndak enak to say tidak enak.

I bet you are Indonesian but also didn't know what "slebew" meant.
@@lunascomments3024 glad to see you got my clue 'ndak enak'. My point is, there is no word 'denak' in Bahasa Indonesia to say tidak enak. Not in KBBI neither in Indonesian slang language. If you intent to invent new word, no problem. But it's not Bahasa Indonesia.
Saya cuma mau bertanya apakah memang tidak tahu kosa kata yang benar dari "tidak enak" atau memang dibuat seperti itu takutnya temen" bule menganggap "denak" adalah kosa kata bahasa indonesia untuk mengungkapkan rasa tidak enak dan menyebar luar, lalu ketika berbicara dengan orang indonesia kata "denak" mereka bingung. Menurut KBBI arti denak adalah umpan binatang (burung dll) untuk menjebak binatang lain

dodol is hit and miss...sometimes, it just tastes sweet and nothing else. But good dodol makers use plenty of fruits, so the dodol has fibrous texture and strong fruity flavour. Soursop (sirsak), pineapple and durian are great for making dodol, because they are flavourful and fibrous.

Don't mix the soto with rice.. Especially before eating.. It will absorb all the soup and make it soggy and lost all the taste
