Exactly that’s why she dealing with the problem now. She created to much tension , let the professional do her job. Why do we do that to ourselves. Take the time and spend the money for professional care and still try and backseat drive the process. I’m guilty as well! Style looks great HBD TO the client 🎁

The habit of pulling the hair tighter can contribute to hair loss obviously but this was difficult to watch. Carla is amazing
I agree but it appears to be a habit of hers. I say thier and watching her pull her ponytail tighter when the hairdresser pulled it up, instead of asking her to tighten it she did it herself, more than once. Is why I came to the conclusion it’s a habit that appears to be hard to break. She can’t sit in a hairstylist chair and let them do ghost things without her pulling at her hair.

Thank you stylist for filming this. Now we all know that it's not always the stylist's fault that a client has no edges. She is her own worst enemy in this situation.😮
I use to have my mom French braid my hair and my gosh she would pull it so tight that I had an instant face lift….I quit wearing my hair like that after I became an adult and now my thick hair is thinning I’m so bumming

Was waiting to see how you would style it, beautifully done, pin curl bun, Was popular in the late 60s and 70s, personally I think she should have went with brown even some blonde highlights but that's a tad drastic but to each his own as they say, being a natural blonde with long hair pin curls are actually the only curls that holds, iron or curlers nope curls are gone in 30 minutes, your such a awesome stylist though and a God sent for those who've lost hair, God bless
It looked like she got a wig. But the result is pretty. I stopped getting braids and extensions because I could see my edges start to weaken and recede. I'm all natural now, and when I want a different hair style I'll get it flat ironed and curled.
Same here. My hair thinned after having my son a few years ago and never fully bounced back. I rarely wear weave now. Only two strains twist hairstyles, afros, etc. ❤

Not her color. The prettiest black people of the solomon island who have naturally blond hair are the only ones who can pull this off. They have black smooth skin and the blondest hair and are gorgeous. Google Solomon island and see for yourself. 😅

That blonde is not flattering on ANY skin tone, even of you were born with blonde hair and have a fairer complexion. It looks like platinum hair that has yellowed over the years. But if the client likes it, that’s all that matters I guess.

How are her edges going to grow up under glue and weave?? I would just focus on my natural hair, keeping it washed, deep condition, oiled, and just wear a nice scarf for going out. Beautiful job stylist

I don't like that yellowish blond on our skin. I feel the ash blond like NeNe Leakes wears suits our skin tones otherwise, the style was very nice.
I think it's beautiful for our skin type. Blonde hair brings out the features better, plus we look good in all colors. Because we are black and beautiful period.
I agree. I prefer a dark honey blonde with brown streaks. This kind of blonde doesn't suit everyone.

I kind of don't know what I'm watching here. This can't possibly be her own natural hair, but it's so skillfully and carefully done to LOOK like her own it's magnificent! This whole process is amazing to watch, and Carla can give her clients exactly what they ask for, even when it's almost too real to be real!
