Bro, this man is the best addition to the family yet. Hes so confident and knows what Rick wants out of a video partner! Glad to have you around man. I forget your name though and didnt wanna go searching! (Its Michael😂) Happy hunting this year everybody!
Between both videos, that collection is one of the best ones I've seen in one place! Those Nintendo CIB's and Pikachu edition N64 were especially awesome. I'm not gonna lie, I started drooling when you guys went through all of the Nintendo stuff. Most of those games I could only dream of getting the manuals with the loose copies, never mind the box. Dude seriously had a great eye and superb collection. I'm glad you guys were the ones who picked it up!
oh my goodness! A NES television. I got one of those in my game room and I use it all the time. I probably had it for 30+ years. Great video, it is like i am watching my childhood even though I can just walk in my garage and look at all the complete sets I have from Atari to PS2
Was a cool collection to watch you guys go buy and then finally go through. My only problem with this particular video is now George Michael and "Careless Whisper" won't stop looping in my head... 😂 HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I found an empty, but NM original Game Boy box in my grandma's basement recently. Everybody thought I was crazy for wanting to keep it, but I swore to them that even that empty box is worth money if you can find the right people.
The Covid 19 game I bought from John Riggs. He was selling them during the pandemic and I just thought it was a fun oddity. Rick, enjoy the NES sharp TV man. It was a real treasure of my collection. Glad you’ll cherish it like I did. I had so many Mario games because of this, I went to see my parents in Florida. During my visit there’s a game store called 8-bite hall of fame, so I had to see it. They have a Mario wall. When I saw that I knew I wanted to make a space in my game room just like it. That’s how I started collecting all the Mario games I could. Again, enjoy the games I’m happy you have them. Mike, it was awesome to meet you and your uncle!
Dbz buu’s fury and all legacy of goku sequels are solid action rpgs on the gba, they were some of my favorite games on the system and what actually introduced/familiarized me to the anime series lol
I remember when I purchased my SNES Nintendo was running a promotion. If I mailed in the UPC from the system's box and a copy of the receipt, I would receive a free copy of Super Mario All-Stars. As the promotion was coming to an end, Nintendo was starting to include the SuperMario All-Stars + Super Mario World combo cart with the console. This was just one of several variants of included games with the SNES console
Do you remember when they create the coded DVD from the Case Closed: One Truth Prevails series. Those dvd are worth alot of money today since they put hidden moments into them. The first coded DVD I got was when they made into gang of canadians quebecois called: Les Bleu Poudres. After they created the coded DVD, no-one was able to do those again since the design was made by the company Solution Digital who was called by a other name Western Digital. Also, those coded DVD are the real gold mine into the real secret on how to become a spy or a ace détective!!!
Ahhhh, this video was great! I loved watching Rick and Mike go through everything. By the way, Mike is awesome! I hope he stays forever at the store and keeps being Rick's #2 guy. Rick, I am living in Japan now. I am coding a 2D Nostalgia RPG game. I often head to Akihabara and check out this store there called Super Potato, which is all about retro games (In Japan, of course, though they got lots of consoles like the Virtual Boy and stuff on the regular there). Anyway, I have two questions for you. Not sure if you answer questions via the comments, but I've been a long time watcher and hope you'll give it some consideration. First question... do you want or need anything from Japan? I got access to a lot of insane retro games here and at good prices too. Second question... I was thinking of visiting my family in Pennsylvania (Haven't seen them in six years on account of working full time in Tokyo) this summer. I was wondering about flying to Arkansas to visit your store... I want to meet you and maybe do a youtube video with you somehow. Is it possible? I don't know how you handle this stuff but... just wanted to ask you. Your videos bring me so much joy. I want to visit the store regardless of how you answer my questions, but I also thought I could give you some content for your channel that's a little different than your normal type of content here (like a Japan connection type video). Let me know, and I wish you the best. I hope you and the family and the Game Point employees all had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. The nostalgia feels I get man every time I see a video from you... it's so wonderful (I grew up in the 80's and was a gigantic NES RPG fan). Take care and God Bless.
