Sadly that wont happen with current products, as xbox and playstation require physical chips in the products. But since xbox games are on pc anyways, we still win!
4:47 terrifying for hifi headphones users without looking at the screen. Lol. Thought someone was busting down a door in my house and I’m home alone. Haha.
You can mod it, just buy or 3D print a lock system so it stays in up and down gears, and then via the game just hotbind the selected gears (for example 3 and 4) to down and upshifting and then you'll have a cheap sequential shifter!
@@GeekStreet another poster in this thread posted a simple 3D printed mod, but there is a rubber washer and elastic band mod to turn it into a sequential shifter. A similar mod turns the Logitech H shifter into a sequential shifter: ruclips.net/video/oLJ_IAjlD_8/видео.htmlsi=wdav0_98SARx7QYO
Moza really impressed me with their "no nonsense" high quality products. Reasonable prices and the ecosystem is easy to use and understand for a beginner.
Here's what I've realized since I started sim racing for a few years now. Shifters that do both are usually ass and expensive VS Shifters that only serve one purpose which is to be used as H-Pattern or Sequential.
The vast majority of people complaining about the lack of sequential shifting can just spend 50 bucks more and get the Thrustmaster one which does have it...Or 200.95 more for the Fanatec one. Maybe 250 more for the Thrustmaster sequential. Remeber this thing costs 149 and that's a pretty good deal for the level of quality you're getting. Or, you could use your wheel's paddles instead.
I got to hand it to you, you've got the best review channel on youtube. The rapidfire editing and detailed coverage of every feature of this product is unmatched. I don't have a racing system at home, but it's surely inspiring to watch how you do your review videos. The realism of this shifter appears to be top quality and one of the best on the market at the moment. full watch and like 112
@@obeisanceplaysmc It's still rocking along. I'm still using it on a desktop since I currently don't have the space for a rig. It still is a great shifter and very solid.
'Shifter' it would have been interesting had moza also released a sequential seperately, or sequential/handbrake combo. Hopefully they release another soon
Got this yesterday, dude you forgot to mention that we need a little bit force to shift this thing 😂 it was awesome tho, a super upgrade from my logitech shifter. Very nice!
You can customize the resistance on the Fanatec shifter via the screw on the side. Recommend this to everyone to get firmer shifts. As for the Moza shifter the deal breaker for me would be the missing sequential mode. Such a blast when driving rally or 90s GT cars.
I have one it's pretty bad. The resistance I want for h pattern is high and too high when you switch to seq so requires readjusting eveytime. Also after 3 years my clubsport keeps miss shifting until I take it apart unplug the mobo and replug. Then works 6 months then have to do it again. I'll be getting separate ones now.
@@mpresto15 for me the resistance works for both modes. I did tighten it down very well on my rig I must say. For the misshifting I got rid of it completely since I opened the shifter up, disconnected the board, cleaned it. Put it back togehter. Then changed to the Fanatec USB Adapter. Calibrated everything. Issue never came back since
I have a R12 I haven’t connected yet. Can you not plug the rj12 cords from pedals (SRP), shifter and handbrake directly into your wheel base and connect wheel base to CPU? I shouldn’t need a hub….right?
EDIT: The title was “Logitech killer” refering to their very cheap plastic shifter from the g29 wheels. Comparing this to a much cheaper logitech shifter in your title is just dumb. Makes no sense as this is several times the price. The logitech is a very cheap toy and everbody knows this. It my country it’s around 45-50 euros including taxes and shipping. The moza shifter is around 200 euros with taxes. But on top of this comes shipping and handling fees to pay the taxes. Tham makes the moza more than five times the price of the logitech. Comparing them makes no sense.
@@GeekStreet So you think it’s fair to compare the two with one being around 5 times the price? Your title is just clickbait. I have watched a lot of your videos, but if this is how you do things now, your credibility is pretty much gone.
@@AtomicFrog77 I just bought one of the aliexpress shifters (the black model with hall sensors). It was 65$ including taxes and shipping. Very much comparable to the logitech in price and the moza in materials and functionality. It just misses the lock on the reverse and seventh gear. For the price it can’t be beat and I believe this to be a real logitech killer. Not something much more expensive. The youtuber is just trying to clickbait in order to get views. I’ll wait and upgrade when I can get a decent shifter with both seq and h-pattern.
I wanted to buy it for my R5, but sadly it doesn't have a sequential mode nor a side table mount, which is why I'm going for the Newt. Good vid still !
Hi Geek Street! I do have a Xbox SX and i'm about to buy the Moza R3, do you think its also compatible with the Moza HGP or Moza SGP Shifter as an Add-on?
I have the G923. Really don't need lots of power in my wheel. I actually prefer the G923 over the more expensive wheels. Picking up the Moza shifter tomorrow. I may like the G923 wheel but the shifter is CRAP!

Moza is really making some nice entries into this hobby. This isn’t a bad little ‘shifter’ to pick up for one of my secondary rigs.

In what scenario would someone use sequential shifter? I'm used to using H-pattern shifting for GT cars and figure I'd use paddles for F1 racing.

100% agreed. I bought a full Moza set up minus the shifter bcuz of the Sequential feature on the Fanatec Clubsport.
If I wanted a sequential shifter, Id buy a purpose built sequential shifter. All the hybrid ones do it terribly.
