If you’re wondering about the silly “Re-Reckoning” name, the publisher THQ Nordic has a history of doing remasters with funny names. In the First Darksiders game, you play as War. So what’s the remaster called? “Darksiders: Warmastered.” In the second game, you play as Death, so that one has the “Deathinitive Edition”. See also: SpongeBob:Rehydrated, and Red Faction: Re-Mars-tered. They’re not all hits, but I appreciate the fact that they keep sticking with that theme.
Man I loved this game back in the day. Played the hell out of it. Pretty decent combat kinda God of War hack and slash. It was a little overhyped but I still had a ton of fun playing it! The DLC was actually pretty good too.
I played it few years ago on the ps4... it went straight into my Top 30 favourite games... It's not amazing, but it's really great! Play it you won't regret it and the most important thing is your choices really matter
Bought this game on both PS4 & Xbox. Over 200 hours and very close to getting the platinum trophy. Teeth of Neros was dlc was good. About to head to Mithros. I would recommend for anyone who likes RPGs.
The original is one of my favorite games, I remember reading about its release and unfortunate situation in a game magazine many years ago. Played it a lot on my PS3 back then, got the re-release as soon as it was available on Steam and been playing it from time to time as well. A really fun game, although a very easy one, even on the highest difficulty.
I love this game. This was the FIRST game I got for my PS3, and I played it to exhaustion. Created countless characters and builds and did everything different in each one of them. It's still one of the GOAT for me, and it was shocking and sad to see the controversies that surrounded it, but that doesn't make it bad in any form.
I love the game, however from the bugs i experienced on the PS3 to still finding a few on the switch, i just can't really play it unless they patch them out, which it seems that they won't even try. At least with Scarlet and Violet, Gamefreak at least pretended to care, with reckoning, not so much. I still can't complete a side quest at the end because i can't pick up the quest item, It's there, but my character can't interact with it. I've since tried to play through again to see if it's been patched, but i just don't have the desire to, because I'm running across the same issues i had in the beginning area where the items dropped, never disappear and really freeze the game, which tells me that they still haven't fixed anything.
Yo, just started back playing this game since Hurricane Helene knocked out our internet. Its been close to 2 months with no internet. This hidden gem has kept me sane. Not having internet has made me appreciate single-player soooo much more. Modern online games have many many problems that just aren't worth messing with.
I got the original for like $2 maybe 7 years ago or something. After beating the game, that $2 felt way over priced. I'd say this game being forgotten is a pretty good thing.
Are you fucking kidding me? You're so fucking cheap you think $2 is too fucking much? That's fucking filthy. You should be utterly ashamed of yourself.
I think the game would have been received better had it not overhyped itself as the best thing since sliced bread. I have played it a few times. It is not a BAD game. It is just very average. It gets very repetitive after a while, which most action RPGs do.
For me personally I didn't see any of the hype for the game at the time, only that you got to play mass effect 3 demo with the game but i've heard that they were a bit wild with their promises and marketing

you know I've only just realised they do this ahah
@@RetroGamingGoose holy moly, well I'm glad to be the one to point it out. They're all goofy names but they tend to fit into a theme.
one of the best crafting Systems i ve ever seen in a rpg
I enjoyed this game a lot.
@@LetoZeth it’s a fantastic game
Not everyone, I've been replaying it nowadays. It's a fun little game.

100% agree , I never found out about the controversies until way after I had played the a bunch of times

Oh nice !
Can't forget what you've never heard of.
It was my fave PS3 game, however i could never beat it because of leveling bug issues and with the switch I've come across game freeze bug issues.
Why is this game so incredibly heavy on the computer?
