You have to put butts in the seats before teams can start to increase pay. Somehow they forgot to mention that the WNBA as a whole looses about 10 million dollars a year, the league has to turn a profit before they can start paying players larger salaries. They also didn't mention that the NBA gives 60 million dollars towards WNBA players salaries, if you're going to attack the pay difference you have to break down the reasons why it exists.
I think its much more comfortable to sell yourself a lie as oppose to truth. Women on that show have built such a false narrative in their heads that they refuse to acknowledge the fact that the WNBA does loose millions every year. Maybe they just don't know and they are ignorant. Which is worse in a way, because you should never talk about a subject if you know nothing of it.

Dawn Staley said it best on NPR yesterday. Go back and look at what the NBA players made when that league was 28 years old and you will find they didn't make any money either. The WNBA is a young league with scant public support. People need to chill out about this. If you want them to make more money go see the games and buy the merchandise.

Not controversial at all. Men's basketball makes billions of dollars, women's loses 10s of millions per year. What else needs to be said? The NBA actually supplements the WNBA's paychecks.

According to On3 Sports, Angel Reese's NIL valuation was $1.8 Million, and Caitlin Clark's was $3.1 Million. These college players are producing a better product on the floor than the WNBA, and that translates into $Dollar$.-Magic Johnson and Larry Bird came into the league in 1979, and by 1983 the ➡️ AVERAGE SALARY ⬅️ doubled to $275,000, I believe these girls can be the Magic and Bird of this generation, but the bottom line is people are not going to tune in or pay for a subpar product.

The new crop of girls who just got drafted can be a new beginning because those girls are super-stars which will now bring the attention/ratings the WNBA needs in order to pay these women. And there is more women in this country than men, if you'll care so much about the pay gap between the NBA and WNBA then ladies watch the actual WNBA sport.

WNBA was forced on each NBA owner, if they you were an NBA owner you had to have a women's team. Most of these women's teams lose money. How can you expect to increase the pay of women players if they can't make money?
