We got on the Uribarri metro from Bilbao because it was close to our hostel and I forgot which line was it but you need to get off in Bermeo (I think it was the last stop in that line). We waited for bus 3524 and got off at the parking lot in San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (I cant exactly remember the name) but it’s a small roundabout with only one bus stop. We went back the same way, bus to bermeo and took the train home.
