@Vainsz one thing I would definitely do is switches the radiator to the side because that way you’ll get the most efficient cooling
Hello new builders! I just wanted to give some tips when building your pc's. Try to avoid building around carpet if you can, if not that is fine but build on a table no matter what. Second avoid wearing socks when building or touching components. Socks help with building static electricity as you know. When touching the motherboard or any part ground yourself before doing so by touching metal. You can do so, for example, if you look at the hex grating, where Vainsz put his exhaust fan, you can touch that. This might seem like common sense to most people, but better to learn this way than rather the hard way.
tiktok tips
static doesnt really matter
@@nosleepcantsleep umm it does it happened to a friend of mine, his mobo shorted

dude i remember when you used to do keyboard sound vids ages ago. its so cool to see your growth! im proud of u man
Shit I came back to the channel this week for the keyboard ASMR videos and was surprised to see how much hes grown in the long time I've been away
And u are still there where u were ages ago
Am I wrong ?
😅
couple things to note that were slightly incorrect while watching this video:
1. When installing the cpu make sure to find the little triangle in the corner of the cpu and then line it up with the same one on the motherboard. Also you don't need to manually remove the black cpu socket cover that's on the motherboard it will pop off as you push the handle back down (note you will feel a bit of resistance as you push the handle down dw that's perfectly normal but make sure when that black cover pops off you don't lose it as if you need to warranty your motherboard ever the manufacturer requires you to have that)
2. when install your motherboard if you're new to pc building do this with the case laying down on its back to make it easier, also you can place the motherboard in the case then count how many screws you need. now not all motherboards are the same size the most common sizes are atx or m-atx but maybe you bought a itx or e-atx in which case you should confer your user manual as you may need to move standoff screws within the case for the slots to line up. His motherboard also came with a pre-installed IO shield but thats not necessarily the case with all motherboards so make sure you apply that first if its not already on your MOBO, to do this you line it up with the ports on the back of your motherboard and push into the case from all sides of it, you will need to use a bit of force but just dont over do it.
3. 1000w for a 4090 and 13th gen is basically the minimum NOT "more than enough", it will definitely work but if you plan overclocking any component you might want to consider a 1200w just to be safe otherwise you will run into power draw issues, however the average person isnt building with these high-end parts so just check the specifications per your parts and adjust accordingly, the average build of 2023 will need 800 - 1000w. (also he uses a fully modular power supply but not all power supplies are like that as some are semi-modular or not modular at all meaning you might have no cables to plug in as they will come pre-installed or you will have some cables you need to plug in)
4. Hooking up PSU cables to the motherboard before installing your GPU is definitely right but installing the aio first would probably be better as most aios will have cables that need to go into the psu and the motherboard plus fan cables that will need to go into a fan controller or into the motherboard, if you have a fan cooler not an AIO then obviously this isnt an issue but in this case the AIO is also argb meaning he has 2 cables per fan (3 for his but they vary) and it might be better for cable management purposes to do those NOW rather than later but its not required. Also note that the AIO fan cables have to individually plugged into a fan header but most modern rgb cables for fans can be linked together in a daisy-chain sequence so you only need to plug 1 rgb header into either a controller or the motherboard.
5. Last thing is more of a tip than a correction make sure to check ALL measurements that your case supports before building, you will not fit a 4090 or basically any of the 40 series from the 4070 and up into a small case, all cases have measurements in the specifications that tell you what dimensions of each component you have clearance for.
Overall though this build is sick and you didnt do anything wrong at all this is just making sure that any new builders that use this as a guide or want to do so are aware of some issues they could come across.

Ngl bro thanks for the tips
Thanks for the tutorial. I have been looking for tutorials from experts but this one is very simple and everything can be understood from it. Next week I am building a computer with a 4080 and rx7800x3d processor so thank you very much for the instructions.
he didn't took into account some things such as fan positioning and cpu positioning when installing, it's common sense but if you're new you might fuck up on that, hf building
Lucky man, im getying smth with similar performance that is a 4090 laptop
also don't forget to connect your front IO connector to the motherboard, as I forgot to mention it in this video
@@mono4968 i reccomend get a pc,laptop one part broken its dead
hope u play new games on max settings and 1440p and 4k cus a 4080 is overkill if you only play games like csgo or val
a little advice maybe turn on the multithreaded rendering ( 15:22 )that means all of your cpu cores will work together this can increase your fps a bit more but not much for you because for a high end system like that it will not change so much (but its a important setting for budget pc gamer)
its actually the opposite, this helps more for high end as it enables every core which more high end builds have, budget builds will have a lower amount of cores on their cpus.
@@paxbizzle Yes thats true but with my old pc which was very bad that helped well and brought about 20-30% more fps but thats definitely different from system to system

Reverse fans should be used for any location where you would see a standard RGB intake fan from its back. When looking at the back of RGB fans, you often do not get the desired looks as the frame of the fan is in the way
yeah reverse fans should be the way to go with these type of cases. But when this video was made, lian li hasn't made the reverse fan yet, still looks good nevertheless
You could buy a gpu vertical stand to look better and some cable extensions like the ones u have on your old pc just to look even more cool but if you font want too its your choice. Keep up with the amazing work and congrats 🎉

The fact he got 1000 fps in fortnite but not valorant is CRAZY 💀💀
? pretty sure we didnt watch the same video but ight
Having 1000 fps in dump because the fastest monitor can handle 500 fps
one tiny tip my brother is to just dont close the pc case untill you boot the pc for the first time :) sometimes we can forget to plug something or fans are not gonna work cause of lac of the air in the case but its okey thats a common mistake
I wish I was sponsored by asus
For the budget you have on the pc, I would recommend getting some ram with something around 6000mhz speed instead of 5400. It would really help you and there are some that don't even cost that much
Turn on MultiCore Rendering, it'll boost performance by utilizing all cores of the CPU.
it uses all the cpu threads *logical processors* games barely make use of multiple cores cause game engines aren't build for that :D
also, valorant is triple AAA. it online uses 1 core for maxed out fps

sup voxil
Day 2 of asking vainsz to bring back the regular keyboard building vids. Those were so relaxing and nice sounding
Everything was fine but you did not really need to put all the cables of the psu in. You have a modular psu which is made so that you do not have all the cables not in use tangling out. If you gonna put all the cables then what is the point of using a modular psu ?
It’s crazy, my pc runs it at 1000 plus fps on valo, but the game still doesn’t look or feel right, I really believe the monitor is my issue now… really not sure what else it could be now…
i was looking for a video with a build where they can run valorant in over 540fps at the highest settings possible( like the fps not dropping below 540 at any condition),it would be great as it would enable us to take full use of 540hz monitor :(
Mans aim in valo🐐
Man aim in rdr2🤧
am i tripping or that single "exhaust" fan on the back is facing inwards?
i was gonna say that you should’ve gotten noctua fans, but i forgot rgb gives +999 fps

wouldn't the exhaust from your gpu and the intake right below it cancel each other out and cause thermal issues?
somehow we picked almost all the same parts expect for the case, psu and the aio😭
