🔎 About socials:
If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

Daru_I-No bullying May users - nothing out of the ordinary.
Also, I understand that this may be an unpopular opinion, but I do not believe May is above high tier. She's a good character, but nowhere near as strong as her earlier GGST iterations/in previous patches - and May is not my most favorite character in the game...
She’s still considered top tier because her mix is really good (especially off a knockdown obviously), she has a near un-6pable jump in in j.s, along with having basically all extremely good air moves. She also has a good amount of disjoints, the most infamous probably being 2s because that wins so many roundstart interactions. She also, true to the “power” type, shits out damage and can end rounds in a single interaction sometimes. Lastly, she also has crazy conversions and good defense for someone without a meterless reversal (that 4 framer that combos straight into 3k hard knockdown helps a lot)
@@jotogoatI believe we can agree to disagree here. May is still a great character, but the standardized top tiers like Sol, Nago, and Leo achieve what she can, while also taking less risks to do so.
Moreover, if those who are saying she is top tier are from NA/EU, then no offense, but I will remain skeptical; because most of us are aware that the NA/EU GGST community has an issue with downplaying, and/or with character bias - even by high-level/top players; NA's best Zato users downplayed; NA (and EU) Sol users gaslit the whole community for years, saying the character was not very strong (lower mid-tier - low-tier), when Asia players knew that Sol was still a top tier at the time; Leffen and Tiger Pop downplay Chaos and act as if he's in the same tier as Testament or Elphelt (when Chaos in Asia is considered A+ tier); and Zando downplays Asuka and states that he is B tier because of his match-up spread (spoiler alert, Asuka is S-tier light, or A+ tier, if you will).
Daru_I-No also mentioned during a stream of his, that a May player (Slash) made it to the AWT grand finals, despite her being "bad" in this version - now, I don't believe she is a weak character by any means; but the Asia GGST scene is generally _very_ accurate when it comes to character strength - they don't typically let personal feelings determine a character match-up/and or character strength. For example, they were stating that A.B.A is A+ tier when NA players were saying she was low tier (even top players); they know that Chaos is still a strong, tournament-viable character (both NA and Asia top 8 brackets tend to have 2 Chaos in them), while other communities are saying something different.
I understand that there can skewed opinions of a character's strength if there are very few strong players on a character (like Ram in Asia, for example), but Asia has Yuu, Kedako, and a Korea player - all are on Slash's level with May, and some of these Asia players communicate and share techniques with Slash - so, a lack of character representation is not the case with May.
Again, based on what I have seen when May was around top 3-5 in the earlier seasons of the game compared to what she has now, she just does not come off as strong/a top tier, in my opinion. I am also a Zato player - I do not like fighting May in the slightest, so I have no reason to be overly biased or downplay the character. So once more, I believe as adults we can come to an accord, and agree to disagree...

BUFF MAY
Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. Nothing has changed for 3 years now. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay.
don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear. I just can’t believe that after a masterly xx or even xrd, they released this shame. It’s not surprising that this dirty game has gathered the worst and most prejudiced community around it.
