Not too long ago, there used to be many women for hire around Robinsons and that restaurant on the corner of Robinsons, actually I enjoyed sitting outside of that restaurant.

I remember that this restaurant on the corner was very popular, but now it's closed.

Most Philippines politicians love to do virtue signalling,
even though their actions destroy so many business in Philippines,
and cause millions of filipinos to become jobless and unemployed ,
and the infuriating thing is ,these politicians boast and falsely claim that they are protecting filipino women by destroying their jobs and employment opportunities.
The mayor just after Mayor Lim was just as bad,
banning women working at ktv clubs from standing at doorway of the clubs or from being seen on streets , so all women had to hide inside the ktv clubs,
which make all potential customers mistakenly think that the ktv clubs are all closed,
and hence causing number of foreign tourists going to Philippines to drop by few millions in recent years .
Once all ktv clubs close down, the supporting businesses eg hotels and restaurants will close down too causing millions more jobs to be lost

Wow that’s awful. No entertainment. Even Laos and Cambodia are light years ahead of Manila. It will never catch up. No food. No girls. Nothing to do there. 😮

I couldn't live in the city. The congested noise environment is not my lifestyle. I'm more of a quiet province of living 28:26

it all depends on the area and your neighbors. I lived in Shenzhen, China, noise is prohibited there, but I came to the Philippines and there is noise everywhere, in the villages there are dogs, roosters, but I don't know about Manila, maybe it's noisy too.
