いつも釧路市動物園のアムールトラ「ココア」を応援いただき、ありがとうございます。
ココアは昨年5月に16歳を迎えましたが、年齢や体の障がいによる変化が見られ、現在の様子や園でのケアについて公式発表がありました。
現在は、後ろ足で立つことが難しくなり、皮膚炎や体力の低下といった課題に直面しています。しかし、釧路市動物園では、マットの設置や患部の洗浄など、ココアが少しでも快適に過ごせるよう工夫を重ねています。

Thank you for your continued support of Kushiro City Zoo's Amur tiger, Cocoa.
Cocoa turned 16 years old last May, and due to changes caused by her age and physical disabilities, an official announcement was made regarding her current condition and care at the zoo.
Currently, she faces challenges such as difficulty standing on her hind legs, dermatitis, and declining physical strength. However, Kushiro City Zoo is making efforts to make Cocoa as comfortable as possible by installing mats and cleaning the affected area.
