Honestly i wish we got this version cause it seems better written and has more depth to its characters than what we got. I do like the addition of the mom being alive as well
Yeah. The product we got I eventually got bored of after reaching 14 years of age - too paper-thin and uneven, and the passion felt missing.

This and the Bucks Apology deleted scene were actually from a time when Chicken Little was a girl before Disney made the decision to make the character a male.
I see they probably didn't realize that they needed to rewrite the dad from this early version of the film. The scene makes it clear Chicken Little regularly caused mass panic instead of the one scene at the beginning of the final version of the film (ignoring the added alien BS). So if they changed it to just that one scene than it makes absolutely no sense for Buck Cluck to act like it was a regular occurrence.
Personally, I'd have kept Chloe alive in the final version and have him call Buck out for being a bad father.
I hope that chicken little gets a reboot and they use this story

@@claudiomarmol1554this aged well. It was going to have a TV show a few years after the movie released but it got scrapped. Search up the chicken little intro pilot and you'll see it.

This storyline is perfect for many reasons, Holly Hunter makes female
chicken little sound adorable and like an actual child (Zach Braff dose do a really good job at sounding emotional and everything, and Holly Hunter is really good too in fact there both just as good, no offense to Zach Braff the point im trying to make is that Zach's voice dose not fit male chicken littel),
the relationship
with female chicken little and Buck Cluck is alot better too, plus he
is a good loving father who is just concerned for his daughter compared
to what we got, the mother being in this makes it more intressting plus
she keeps Buck in check, the plot alone sounds very intressting and
compared to what we got it sounds great, Mark Dindal was making this for
his daughters and he was basing it off of his relationship with his
daughters too, overall this seems like it was going to be a sweet,
heartwarming movie, how could Michale Esiner say no to this!?. I hope
that someday this will get remade with the compleate original plot.
I completely agree with you and those facts!! I really like the fact that the plot was more Original and not centered around the whole aliens thing and had it feel like a realistic situation especially now knowing that the movie was meant for his daughters, I thought it was good to actually get a lady protagonist as well so I don’t get why they had to change that :/

Buck was better in this, but I don’t think he deserved that much hate in the current one either.
I get the feeling that the beginning of the film we got was supost to have a scene with the mom (hinted with a book opening that showed her) but was cut with making a joke that was really unnecessary.

If I were in charge I would’ve asked mark dindal to come back to direct it so he can finally make the movie he wanted to make, seeing how he based it on his daughter.

*EDIT:* Someone replied with the answer but it’s not here anymore. Apparently Chicken Little was originally female but they changed her to male and the whole story.

@SpongeyBubby probably because Chicken Little wanting to change has got absolutely NOTHING to do with changing her gender because that's obviously not a problem for her in any way. She wants to change because her timid, weird, different nature seems to negatively affect her parents and the people of the town around her. She's more comparable to an autistic person than a trans person, honestly.

es que la historia se trataba de que el personaje principal era una chica y que esta tuvo un ataque de paranoia por creer en una pandemia y fue llevada a un campamento de verano y conoce a los demas personajes, inadaptados , y donde los lobos se quieren comer a los demas campistas , pero fue una idea rechazada .
