What a fantastic idea to include your gnome, fairies and train station into the new garden bed Barby. You've really transformed this space into a beautiful garden bed. I just love this ❤a lot. The rocks and wood add to the rustic feel of an old train station kind of vibe. The plants appear to be thriving. Now when you sit on the patio, you can look out at this amazing new garden bed. Hi Krista! Well I give you credit for getting me started. The nice thing about the second garden bed Fairy Garden is that I used every thing I already had. The poor planters are old but work with the Train Depot. I had some white rock left from a project a few years ago and then I dug up more from a landscape project that had overgrown (that was hard work scraping little rocks through the grass and deteriorated weed block fabric!) We are expecting heavy rain today so I hope. my plants survive IF we actually have rain. Thanks again. Have a wonderful weekend and keep inspiring. XO💖

Hi Barby!! I’m so sorry for running late today. I put up 20 jars of tomatoes today as well as picked beans, broccoli, squash and onions. I thought I would get here sooner but I had no idea Jerome the gnome was driving the train. Everything was going good until the fairies showed up at the train depot. Jerome was getting an eyeful from the older fairy but fortunately His uncle calmed everyone down. He told the fairies that the rosemary plant was in the new garden. It’s a no dig garden so the fairies won’t have to worry about Coco tossing dirt at them. The fairies said let’s all fly over to the rosemary and we can see all the bright and cheerful flowers on the way. So you can see why I’m late. Jerome the gnome , on his very first day decided that he didn’t want to be the train depot manager. He was already upset that the general store was gone before he could stock up with his adult beverages and a few magazines. So I guess what happened is he decided he was going to drive the train back past the chive garden on his way to the petunias and he would stock up there. Jerome also figured out that there was so much room to spread out by the hut that he should lay down and take a nap. He had no idea that he could see right in the fairies bedroom. He also had no idea they were trying on a dress made from the snapdragons. So as he was getting up, the youngest fairy cried out, OH MY, JEROME! Well the first thing Jerome could think of was, I’m so happy you fairies came! Oh well right then and there is when the trouble started. The middle aged fairy yelled out, Jerome get your friend JJ and that other frog the heck out of here. They’re supposed to be driving that train not out here sunbathing in the nude! So Jerome quickly got up and grabbed the little fairy and ran back to the small fairies hut. He knew he could quickly hide in the fairy garden behind the vinca vines. But unfortunately none of that happened. He wasn’t able to hide. Everything was all brown and there was a big terracotta tiered pot right in the way. Which is why the oldest fairy busted Jerome for the $1.00 he took from the till at the general store before it had closed. Hence the whole reason for the eyeful he got and the reason why I’m late.
