    i think this is the reason why Hamby was voted into All-stars this year.. in support. And it makes me understand why Hamby didn't play well at the All-stars game, AND 3vs3 Olympic games, having this on your mind would make anyone unfocused. and yeah Hammon should have been fired 2 years ago.. if Hamby wins the lawsuit, they will probably set an example to prevent ANY other team from doing this again, and it will be expensive.. Sides and Dunn sucks, but all honor to them for taking care of Katie Louuuuu when she got pregnant.

    Pretty much a win by Hamby in court. WNBA has already admitted guilt by the Aces and Hammond. With Hammond 2 game suspension and loss of draft picks. Plus it is in the CBA , State and US Federal Law. Being Hammonds plays for the Alphabet Community the Feds and the NBA may not push for Hammonds expulsion. Hammonds knew she was violating WNBA and Employment Laws and did it any way. She should have to walk the plank.

    You truly do not understand the United States. This is the country that says they are pro-life. But it’s bs. I am in corporate America & my wife is a teacher. I have seen women get pregnant at work, they return to work and have a new position. The position absolutely sucks, so that they will quit. My wife had a baby & it was 1 week paid leave. Her coworker, came back to work the same week of her delivery bc she needed the money. It’s not the baby it’s the anticipated time off requests for checkups, wanting to leave work right when you are supposed to. Instead of coming early & staying late. The United States is pro corporation. That’s why she still has a job. This is business as usual, as long as she’s winning nothing matters.

    • @francesw.6774
      @francesw.6774 28 дней назад

      Agreed. Rich people own this country. They get whatever they want, and what they want is more money. Anything that interferes with that is a problem that needs to be fixed. I would put it slightly differently - The USA is owned by corporations. They control everything, and you'll find that out if you get in their way. Stay out of their way, be a good little sheep, and you can hold on to the illusion that you have some say in things.

      @@rcud1 IANAL, but think of it more like the Aces transferred her to another department or job (it's easiest to think of the WNBA as a big company with each team being a different department or subsidiary). It will likely be viewed as retaliation by the employer, which is not permitted under the US law. I'm sure the lawyers representing Hamby are confident, or else it doesn't make sense to bring the case forward at this point. There could be an agreed upon settlement, but I'm sure something will come from this.

    It looks like you were reading from the complaint filed in the lawsuit. Please note that complaints only contain allegations of what the party claims happened and they claim this is the basis for their lawsuit. So many times, people put false information, false allegations, distort the truth, etc. That is why there is a court of law. They have to prove those allegations are true. In America, you are innocent until proven guilty. That is generally a criminaltheory, it holds true in civil cases as well. There is no finding yet that Hammond did any of these things. I don't fault Hamby from trying to get a personal monetary settlement (which will likely happen out of court, and will basically enrich the lawyers), but Hammon does not need to be fired immediately or any time in the future for this incident. She served her suspension and in America, she's entitled to, and deserving of, a second chance. Maybe not in Ireland, but that's how we do it in the USA.

      In any other organisation this would fall foul of u.s employment law, discrimination law and retaliation laws. The person or group of persons responsible would be summarily dismissed. By being punished the league has found them guilty as a team and individually. This all but guarantees a win for the dismissed player, and severe monetary penalties for the team as an entity. The only conclusion the team has to come is do they want to fight this to the costly end or cut their losses and offer a proper settlement, otherwise their own lawyers will enrich themselves greatly aside from the players lawyers.

    Becky Hammons is so beautiful and classy and articulate . I read she has a turtle for a pet so that makes sense. She is so wonderfl. Also Aja Wilson is so beautiful and articulate and classy. Her well swooped head is magnificent and so beautiful , I heard she has a praying mantis for a pet and that makes sense . She is so humble
