Ok. Fine. You got me. Subscribed. I don't know if it was the West Coast scenery, your awful singing, irrepressible optimism for life, or your mention of reconnecting with God, but you got me. This video brought me great joy. All the best from the Isle of Man 👍
Thanks so much for subscribing. It has put a damper on my musical aspirations 😀, but I will continue to explore and share life with passion. My life motto is Jesus’ saying “I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly” (John 10:10).
@@africaunexpectedjust watched your Hermanus video about the "private" pools. Enjoyed it so much I started this video. Also lovely. I am subscribed to so many.🙈But your quote of John 10: 10 made me subscribe. Keep on singing and sharing! 🛐🙌✝️💓
@@africaunexpected absolutely! I had a revelation of John 10:10 about 10 years ago and haven't looked back! Just turned 60 and massively blessed! Next time I'm in the Cape, we'll have a coffee 🙂
I loved your words about connecting..... with yourself, those who are with you, and most importantly, God! In addition, what an amazing place you had the privilege to visit.
Thanks for your honest fun videos, really helpful to see places we would like to visit or camp at, as well as see new places we can visit. Love how the peace, quite & serenity helped you connect with each other & with Jesus! He Loves connecting with us! Amazing how less distractions help's us connect!
Was great to meet you and have a quick chat today with you and your wife today at the Franshhoek Garden day. Love your very informative videos, which are very entertaining and also very useful! All the best Paul
@@africaunexpected Well, with a talented editor like that, no wonder your videos are so polished! Sounds like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree! 😊
Thanx for travelling with you to the Westcoast. I just love the Westcoast and have been there many a times since 2000. We are booked at Delwerscamp again in January 2025...booked long ago already.
WOW @africaunexpected ! Absolutely loved this video and I'm intrigued and excited to visit these campsites. Your words about disconnecting in order to reconnect also inspired me and I found myself "hitting that subscribe button". Would you possibly be able to tell me where you purchased your tyre deflating gadget? Absolutely love it.
Thanks for the great feedback and for subscribing. It is so awesome to disconnect when we can. I got the tyre deflation goodie from 4x4 direct. Here is the link - 4x4direct.co.za/tyre-care/9460-badger-tyre-deflator-clip-on-type.html
Showering ! Buy yourself a 12 volt TMC caravan water pump on Takealot (R600 ) makes a big difference 🤣🤣🤣 Or put your water container on the car roof ( gravity feed ) with a length of hose and a Gardena sprinkler.
That’s a great idea. We had something like that but couldn’t find it when we left so I had to improvise. But next time I’ll definitely upgrade to something fancier. Thanks for the Takealot info. I’ll get one.
Yes. It wasn’t at the campsite. We returned from De Hoop to Franschhoek to avoid the rains and ended up in the floods. My Pajero which was parked at the bottom of our driveway was flooded with water for days as a result of the river that came down. It was quite the devastation in Franschhoek. But thankful everyone was safe.

So loved this video. What bliss and reconnecting in every way possible so important.
Thanks. Reconnecting is so important. We just have to give ourselves time and space to do it.

Thanks for watching...and yes, there is something really tranquil about camping by the ocean. It must be all the fresh air.
Great video which really whet my appetite for a similar tour.
Yeah these off grid places are really amazing and an awesome way to disconnect and unwind.
What an epic adventure! Definitely adding it to the list! 😍
You would love it. Go to do a family adventure here.
That deflating device is awesome!
It really is great. I got it from 4x4direct - it’s called a badger tyre deflator.

Did you loose your previous car from the floods at the campsite the last time
