Respect your judgment but Straight Arm Tomahawks not making the tier list is criminal imo. Top 3 dunk package since 2K15 and I use it over player packages because most player packages include dunks off two
Most dunk packages have it in them so it’s useless
@@treeshactivities - I know, but that's why it's a great reason to use it. Clyde Drexler's best dunk is included in Straight Arm Tomahawks, so equipping the latter gives you that fast tomahawk dunk without getting the Off-Two animations that come in his package. Same way LeBron has Uber Athletic Tomahawks Off One and Side Arm Tomahawks.

I like to use shaq on my bigman builds, I feel like when I use his package I get WAYY more standing dunks to activate, and if you have good driving dunk packages it’ll negate the one bad driving dunk he has

How much more takeover do flashys give u?
You gotta throw side clutch off one in there!!! It’s fast af, kicks off the flashy like front clutch as well, & it’s a good distanced one legged take off. And with limitless take off you can get it to fire off in situations to avoid the contact on the ground especially in those fast break neck and neck situations, it will fly you to the hoop across the defender not giving them the chance to jump. Windmills are also actually good this year. I love it.
Ben & Kat have been sleeper dunks for builds as well IYKYK. Ben does have some gather dunks at the rim but if you have limitless it overrides it and give you better take off packages.
And you sleep on SCOTTIE DUNK

I was about to ask the same.
To me straight is better then Uber. Uber has that one were you bring it back to you feet. Straight has almost all the beet dunks from Uber without the extra long cockbacks.
theres alot of OP dunks missing from this list
I feel like variety is better but you right some of funk animations barely activate anyways

I get contact dunks with off two atgletic dunks... Even though slow, im smashing it down on people and they got all day to defend me, even on centers. Logic off two means more power.
Front clutch gets stripped by good defenders when he pumps the ball,
So i use side clutch only as ut takes ball off center and never get interrupted...so far
I use to use dunk meter but for the life of me even green would pop right out with a well timed block instead of finish, i just use stick hold up to dunk now and have been finishing waaaay more, and ai seems to do its magic (as the game should be for recreational players like me)

Gold slither, posterizer, limitless
Silver acrobat, finisher, fast twitch (for under rim late passes which activates every time cause im a quick cutter)
Quick 6"9 SG lanky ass arms skinny and just dunk like crazy in big men lol
Hof anchor, chase down gets me tack over easy.
Jimmy buttler, oscar jump shot 81 can shoot all day over 6"1-6"3 opposing SG
Hif ankle break to step back on bigger opponents who usually dont have sufficient ankle break def.
Im a basic player, spent many many hours making so many builds that were shit but so happy i finally made this one and now love nba2k23 lol. Playing for 5-6 months almost threw it in until i realised how important animations were, now its all i play.
I dont find player packages reliable as u Can control which dunk u animate, i find i dunk and finish more consistent without em.
I just want to tell people now that laker realeased a more recent video saying he doesn’t like SOME of these dunk packages specially some of the higher rated ones so go check that out

Does anybody miss their quick drop dunks? I have an 84 dunk and I swear if 1 person is near the rim I've missed that dunk more times than u would think
I’m starting to see more and more people miss it now I think 2k might of made it to easier to contest still a very solid dunk package
Not wide open ones but one where u might have a interior defender near u and not having a high posterizer causes people to miss alot of dunks
I mean like quick drops is good but at lower driving dunks you can’t spam it and it gets contested easier you gotta be careful and dunk when its more better for like your running around someone who’s guarding your shot and they can’t chase down the dunk but if you use your dunk meter you hit more dunks thru traffic

Most of his dunks are great but he has one baseline reverse animation that drops you to the floor and prevents you from getting back on defense. It triggered all the time in previous 2Ks; not sure how often it happens in this one.

The animation looked like it was either side windmill package or athletic windmill

Yea buts it’s pretty slow and can miss if it gets contested at the rim
It’s really good if you don’t rim run it’s bad for people who don’t shoot and relentlessly slash but why use it if you can’t spam it tho makes me question using it at all just use the recommended ones and preform better

Switcheroos are broken and have been for years. For you to say any dunk that isn’t on this list is trash (D or F) is mind boggling 😂 and people will actually listen and not try new dunks because of it. People please remember this is all heavily opinion based but one thing everybody agrees on is Quick drops off one is just on a different level compared to other dunks.
imo 2k should get rid of quick drops and front clutches. the game would have more variety with them and im tired of seeing nothing but quick drops every game on every build
