"My Breathless Years" - what a great title for a book! Carole, Gary & Shirley are a super trio in this engaging film. Carole was always so luminous, and I really love her beautiful voice - tone and diction. Thanks for sharing this.
In the past few months I have become quite the fan of posts by Donald P Borchers, as they have a moral content that makes them, in my opinion, a cut above others!
Thanx for loading the movie.Shirley Temple,Mark Lester n Rody McDowell were the finest n talented child artists of Hollywood.Good starcast n enjoyable movie.Must watch for Shirley Temple m Carol Lombard.
This isn't the typical Shirley Temple movie one might expect, but it is better. The storyline and acting were above expectations and is a classic gem. I rate this a solid gold 10.
Just into the Code (no. 101). Cooper and Lombard play it well (and Cooper's character will face the music); Fox loaned Shirley Temple to Paramount, and she handles the juvenile lead with the two veterans like the one she would quickly become.
3 TITANS IN ONE GREAT MOVIE. LITTLE MISS TEMPLE WAS THE BIGGEST CHILD STAR FROM 1934-1938. AND SHE WAS A DIPLOMAT. SHE WAS U.S. AMBASSADOR TO GHANA AND CZECHOSLOVAKIA. SPECIAL LADY.
17:30 The sailboat here looks very much like a Sunfish -- which wasn't developed until 1952. Maybe this model inspired it. Anyone know what this one is?
Thank you 😊
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!

Good question. Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?
We need movies like that NOW
I hear you. Thanks for watching.
Very early Henry Hathaway. He began his career in 1933, directing 7 films! This year, 1934 he directed only 5. .
Legend.
@48:38, Carole Lombard is playing Jack Benny's theme song.
Roger that. Welcome.
That bill would be over $19k in 2024.
Right?! Thanks for the visit!
Carole Lombard a special beauty
Heartbreaking what happened to her
The ending would have been better if Gary had been more truthful
Roger that. I post Carole Lombard movies here: ruclips.net/p/PLk3CReZFhoBd3wGjJsdAY4DKPTj75YmyT
Carole was never prettier.
Roger that. Welcome.
I liked castor oil. Must have been a bit wrong with me!
Ha! I find it bitter and unpleasant, with a nauseating aftertaste.
