Idk who else is as curious as me, but for those who are, i did my research, and it turns out that the only person filmed in this episode that is still alive today is "Dana Valery", the younger of the two female panelists. She is 74 today! -- The host, Jerry Blyden died in 1975, only a year after this episode, in an alleged "traffic collision" at the age of 49, 17 days, if i recall correctly, away from his 50th birthday. "Soupy" was fortunate to have had a longer life, dying at the age of 83 in 2009, while Arlene Francis, the older of the two female panelists, also enjoyed a long life, dying at the age of 94 in 2001. Jerry Orbach died at the age of 69, succumbing to prostate cancer, which he had been battling for at least a decade, in 2004, and, now, in August 2018, at the age of "76", we say goodbye to our Queen... 👑 Having succumbed to pancreatic cancer! RIP Legends.... & thanks for providing us with the various entertainments. 🙏
I can't believe at 2:04 The woman jumped to opera. If it's not country or rock, it must be opera? Damn, she ain't never heard of disco, gospel, R&B, jazz, broadway,...?
First off, Travel In Peace, Aretha. Second, Aretha stumped everyone, including Arlene, who usually gets it. The best part about it was Aretha didn't even disguise her voice.
It's hard to believe that she died on the 41st anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. August 16 will surely be remembered the day that we lost both the King of Rock and Roll and the Queen of Soul.
Rest in peace Aretha, we will miss you.
I'd know Aretha's voice anywhere!
Really
Rest In Power To The Queen Of Soul!

Its LARRY Blyden
You've got a real morbid fixation about when people die.
Blyden died in Morrocco in a car accident while on vacation.
ALL HAIL TO THE QUEEN #RIParadise and we thank you for all of your music which still lives on after ohhhhh so many years !!!
Classy move, BUZZR...Great upload. RIP Aretha.
She was so gracious and humble
On this program she was. But then she turned into egotistical diva.
@@4seeableTV no she's always been a diva
@@4seeableTVHas she should.
Thank you for sharing this Buzzr.
That sweet smile. Love you Lady
She was somewhat shy. Painfully so almost. But so much talent it makes up for anything and everything...❤
The 👑 !!!!!

Lol riiiight...as if there weren’t anymore music genres 😂

I still can’t believe she stumped the panel, even with a voice like that.
Really Loved Arethia
I wish someone would post her also on Hollywood square

That was in final Jeopardy in 2019 I believe
"The King of Rock and Roll and the Queen of Soul." Sounds like a song!
Lisa1966 ...Elvis Aaron Presley wasn't the King of Rock and Roll, PERIOD!!!
@@caroleathenacosta-songwrit9193nly one of those titles make sense and it isn’t the Kinf Of Rock AndRoll
She was born in Memphis. There's something about that Mississippi River that very talented people grow up near there.
Really Loved
What's my Line without John Charles Patrick Croghan Daly is an abomination.
