- Whilst in Las Vegas, one must visit Moondog Records; great stuff in the racks and rare stuff on the walls, something for everyone here at Moondog (I found 5!). enjoy!
Just got back from Las Vegas and I stopped in this store and it was great. The staff were very nice and super helpful.
The selection was great and I purchased some stuff I have wanted a long time but never managed to run across in any other store.
If you are in town and want to shop for records go here first.
This video is cool ! 😊
Great store. They're over on Decatur now, in the strip mall by Arizona Charlie's. This shopping center where the original was has since been demolished!
THIS shop kicks ass! Killer shop and the records are priced! I'm a regular digger in Vegas and can tell you this is an excellent store. Fair prices.
Looks like a great recordshop
Just wanted to say that Louis *Moondog* Hardin was into classical and jazz and I have seen
his music played in Historical
Museum in Stockholm in 1986
The ‘Leathur Records’ Pressing oF Too Fast For Love has been on my grail list for years....great to see It out in the wild.
5:04 Radioactivity 12" $25? MY appreciation of the copy i have has just increased. Thank you :)

Wow hard to find records.. I just saw Attack, Infernal Majesty, 1st Quiet Riot LP and XCURSION wow! .... cheers JC/Miami
I want that G.T.'s and Ernie Henry.
Going to Vegas in a few months. Can you rank the shops for me since I won’t have time to see them all. Thanks.
Being a local and a UNLV student (Moondog is right off of campus, you can see it in the opening shot) I would say that for the most part Moondog is a bit overpriced for the average person. However if you are looking for those hard to find punk, and metal albums and 45's he is the place to go. The owner is nice I just wish his prices were a little lower/competitive with the other record shops in town.
Your camera is too fast. Don´t hurry, sir.
