It depends on many factors
I don't know the context but let me tell you about a guy who joined an online forum of our craft (mainly hobby). He asked if he is too old to learn new things. He was 55 or something. We welcomed him, as we were all about learning and sharing bits of knowledge, as much as an online medium allows. 1,5 years later he says, he just got paid for the first time and now he is doing it all full time professional, making a living, doing what he loves, what he once was hesitant about due to his age. It's a true story. Maybe that helps
Something which is initially not working then how's the to work on it & stay with the same thing to grow.
