Basically pushing your legs forward at the last second when you know someone is diving for them so they are unable to tap your feet and or you back leg swing isn't high enough for you trip over yourself in a big heap. Darrel Green running down Eric Dickerson on Monday Night Football needs to be on the list. Eric ran track at SMU and was thought to be uncatchable in the open field. Someone forgot to tell Darrel Green that.

Gotta agree with Dierdorf - one of the most jaw-dropping feats of athleticism I have EVER seen. And unlike some of these, that LB wasn't showboating or lollygagging, he was running. Larry just ran harder.
Yeah my high school physics teacher had us do the F=M*A. Force equals mass multiplied by acceleration. So we figured out that some of these players when the hit head on are in a mini car crash based on the Force that they sustain. He had us compare a various car stops inside the vehicle 5mph fender benders to more rolling speeds……eg: seatbelts as airbags weren’t a thing yet. So I’m not surprised at al brain damage is common among them. My favorite is Troy Aikman…(lol) he get stuck on a word and repeats himself….

I was at the game when he chased Dickerson down. This list was pretty bad, probably because it was made by a 20 year old but there are much better ones.
THANK YOU! For including Darrell Green chasing down Tony Dorsett from behind (last play). I wish you had the complete play from snap to tackle, but I understand it was a while ago. I've heard people say Dorsett was caught from behind only once in his entire career (high school, college and pro) and this was that play. Also - you'll notice there's no video of Bo Jackson getting caught from behind. Because it never happened, once Bo was in the clear.
Bill T Oh yes it has. Here it is. Just FF to 0:07 seconds: ruclips.net/video/dgYYaL--1qc/видео.html Bo was fast but he was not in the top 10 fastest players of all time.
Bo Jackson never had more than 5 TDs in a season, so he didn't have a lot of long runs to get run down on. Hell, in 4 years he only went over 100 yards 7 times. His football and baseball career was mediocre at best. He should have played football full-time. At least he might have had a chance at the Hall of Fame, but he was never gonna reach it in baseball and had no chance of doing it in football playing part-time.

Right here. Freakish.
Me
Same here dawg...you can't teach that shit!
i literally clicked on this video without the seeing the date posted and after i was like, “ where’s dk??”
A TE sized WR. Reminds me of Golden Tate who knocked out a DE blocking for Russel Wilson run.
Adam Vinatieri running down Herschel Walker will live in immortality as the greatest run-down of all time
Nah, Ben Watson.
@@greyk610 dod yall not see larry allen's fatass lmao
OneManSaxBand, Greysen G. , and Kyle Segovia those three will all live in immortality
My vote goes to Browns O-lineman Joel Bitonio running down Devin Hester from behind on a missed FG runback.
The greatest run-down of all time is the one Jim Halpert prepared for Charles Minor
Larry Allen
Larry Allen was on another level physically. And then there was Leon Lett, being a dolphin fan, there will always be a special place in my heart for Lett
LOLOLOL Same here! 😂🤣😂🍻 Phins up!
"Thanks to Carlos Dansby"... completely fails to mention the honey badger forcing the fumble
after the commercial break he said something about tyrann
Highlight Heaven okay that makes more sense...
Mike Hawk Ik I was like fire this dude
My uncle's name is actually Mike Hawk, for reals
Karlos
When I clicked I knew Darrell green would be on here and I was like where tf is he?? Finally at the end lol
Hsbfbsnd Bebfbdns best for last
That wasn't even his best one. He had a savage walk down of HOF Eric Dickerson a few years after the Dorsett one.
Doesn't do Darrel Green justice to only show the end of the clip. He caught him from a dead stop at the corner position on the opposite side of the field!
I was at the game when he chased Dickerson down. This list was pretty bad, probably because it was made by a 20 year old but there are much better ones.
4:10 My god.......that's the scariest thing I've ever seen.
Last eve Oct 25 ...2020....the Seahawks's receiver -Metcalf run down of Az Card's Budda Baker's interception was BY FAR the best I have ever seen in over 60 yrs of watching 🏈 of all time!....Incredible!...a must see...please post this for all to view.
This is so awesome. Vinatieri catching Herschel Walker and then the 325 pound lineman. Wow!
Pray that Steelers vs Bears one is on here
You saved the best for last. Thank you for showing my man Darrell Green. He truly was the fastest man in the NFL during his years in the league.
Guy outran laron landry a few years ago
I despised him but he was.
4:07 quite literally one of the most impressive plays in NFL history !
Jones Ran the Guy down and then Slammed him down on his head. The guy sat still with a Concussion ..LLS 🤣😂
3:38 as a bears fan that watched this game live I cant tell you how furious I was when that scab started showboating before the endzone. Dude deserved to get cut
You aren't kidding. There's plenty of time to showboat once you hear the referee blow the whistle.
3:47 The chase down is good old fashioned hustle. What impresses me more is the holder not only joining the pursuit but having the presence of mind to knock the ball out the back of the endzone as well. Granted it is taught what way, but so is not celebrating early 😉
just think Herschel walker at 50 years old ran a 4.34 40 that kicker must of been stinking fast
It's Adam Vinatieri
LOL yeah, sure he did...
Walker goes to my job dude does not look 50 lol
You're delusional if you think Walker EVER ran a legit 4.34. He just didn't have the stride for it.
no, YOU don't know any history or recognize that Walker's short stride is what made him a GREAT sprinter, one of the top 60 yard dash runners in the world. No doubt at all he was a legit 4.3 guy. He finished 2nd when Carl Lewis broke the world record in 1983 www.nytimes.com/1983/02/06/sports/lewis-runs-fastes-60-yard-dash-in-6-02.html
Venatieri's tackle of Hershall Walker has to be one of the best plays of all time. Hats off to Adam.
And tbh it’s pretty amazing because you can tell Adam was running on pure tenacity because the dude’s legs looked like they could barely keep up! I kept thinking ... any second now he’s gonna trip himself! 😂
