Not a huge fan of Yi but I use him a lot. The reaction time and prediction on his Q's to chase down his targets when they use Flash or a mobility spell and to dodge powerful spells or CC is way better than what Yi players can do at an average, and that's saying something. I have to admit, Cowsep is impressive in being able to use Yi in high elo where he's very easy to shut down.

people say everyone is noob champ. people in my elo call yas braindead and i look at their winrate with him and its 30% meanwhile i have 59% its not a coincidence that i can play him 10x better then the people complaining about him
People complain that yas is just eq , riven is just q and yi is just auto. The thing is , you have to be exceptionally bad if these things are enough to beat you. Only low elo players say that.
Of course i understand it is frustrating if they are fed and can finish you off with no need to use advanced mechanics . In that case donr flame the champ but that one idiot who fed him
other people see the q and mouse combo on yi but I see the prediction of his q on minion wave every turret shot

Yi in high elo is like the hardest champ to use. The utility champs that high elo players choose to go with counter him hard, since they know how to counter him.
yi is more complicated than azir? lmao i know yi has some mechanics but azir has a lot more

yes, master yi is a "noob champ"
but, master yi is made for beginners that just started playing league
and, master yi is so cheap and every beginners can buy him
try to play master yi and reach master/challenger
master yi is pretty hard to play in master/challenger because you have to wait till you can all in the enemy team and hope that you are not going to burst down
since a lot of people here are in low elo (i'm pretty sure because they have time watching youtube and not climbing the ladder instead) that is using words like "noob champ", "no skill champ", "press 1 button champ", please, for the love of god, know and learn how to play league.
every champion got their own mechanics and that's why there a word we called "one trick pony" right? the people that is playing ony one champ know what their doing and they know the mechanics of the champion that they are playing and they know what to do in every situations.
can you guys just stop arguing about "noob champ" and just play league and try to climb this season?
because some of you are putting time on youtube and saying words that doesn't make any sense.

There's a difference between playing a champion and mastering a champion. That's the difference between a low-elo Master Yi player and a high-elo Master Yi player. You can both play the same champion and get a penta but with only one out of those 2 players you can see the mechanics of the champion being utilised to their fullest potential instead of some amateur pressing a few buttons and spazzing on the right click. Lots of respect to Cowsep!

Jake Hunter people usually have pretty bad CS in Silver. If you just farm safely and don't go ham on a Yi, he won't be a huge problem... just keep an eye on him on team fights, he usually won't show up until you and your team are pretty low

But sometimes he doesnt land on the target ... maybe its when the target die before the q's animation end ?

Using the same logic as the people who say "omg yi only aa" then leblanc it's only an easy combo.
The difficulty appears in the positioning and mechanics (meditate "defense" + aa reset, q dodge, etc)
