I have my fifth bullet Thunderbird x but,imperial has no vibration and much wider back.imperials is much better and faster
Yesterday I saw Benelli 400, initially I was confused with harley from back side , because of its wider back,then I saw it clearly mentioned Benelli, apart from that RE 350 was besides it and it looked way more smaller than benelli , road presentation is far good of benelli,also these days you would see RE 350 anywhere ,2/5 bikes would be RE but I would prefer Benelli , completely retro look 3/4 interceptor 😉
I’m regretting buying a RE classic 500. It’s pain to see the after sales service, the mechanics, the noise from engine, clutch and gear slotting issue. RE can not fix it and neither any other mechanic can. I strongly recommend to go for Jawa or Honda. Don’t listen to reviewers who do not own a RE and are advising to buy one. Once you buy RE, you’ll know the mechanics names by default, I bet you on that!!! The service center and outside mechanics will rip you off with heavy bills!
Today I saw beneli 400 and it was so good, much better than classic 350

Benelli kochi (Marikar) is charging 7000+ extra in ex-showroom which forces the buyer to pay 700+ extra as road tax. The ex-showroom price is only 1.69/1.79 lakhs even in metro cities like Chennai. If Benelli India intervened we may get it on road by about 10,000 rupees less.
That slight lean forward is an issue for long rides in the Imperialle 400 I am a fan of RE and done about 1.5 lakh km on three Enfield bikes I bought Benelli Imperialle 400 and done 2500 km and found to be ahead of RE on all front....

Sir, don't you think Benelli should get a kick start since the battery gets weak over a period of time since the always On halogen light consumes a lot of power and over a period of time, the battery starts getting weak.

I own classic 350 from 2019 & I can say that In classic 350 exhaust note & engine noise both are mixing but in imperiale exhaust & engine sound both are different which is the indication of refined engines with smooth performance #royalenfield

Imperiale is a much better bike. Only problem is service network.
Benelli looks retro but the technology used is up to date and hence it is superior by 10 to 15% in all the parameters. The die hard Enfield lovers are under a dark cloud. They have never faces such a situation before. The time has come for them to accept 2nd position.

Jawa has better performance. Imperiale offers better ergonomics and comfort and is more rider friendly.
I think Benelli 400 sound better then RE..I am riding RE it's much loud for vibrate..and RE stand for his Royalty..which people like..but Benelli 400 is all over good bike..So Benelli 400 is better good for me..

Good to see ur comparison ability..but brother i would like to request you plesse compare benelli with lstesh updated model of classis 350 which has abs indicator with low fuel indictor..then this comparison can b justified..thanks...apart from that benelli looks good regarding freature and power refinement..but what about service network which enfield has? If ur classic got broken anywhere then any machanic around this nation or world can fix this easily from there life long experience....but i have a lot of doubt regarding benelli service..forget about incentives which is worthless in practical life..i would by benelli after 8 to 10 years.

beautiful Benelli... wish they could sort the design a bit... observe..
1. from back leading to front. a long bike.....chunky but lean black looks.
2. Engine area beautiful..the Fuel tank design an upward craning neck destroys the chunkiness and
beautiful and powerful design...look at the tires.spokey and chunky..
3. note the upward flare of the Fuel tank bottom at front end..looks as if somebody wanted to kill the overall look..
4. Note that the fuel tank has flared up and now the Head light has gone higher like a giraffe neck. with a very large head light killing it all
5. how can the design which looks powerful. culminate in an insipid .design....Hope they learn....
Benelli looks good as individual....

THE ONLY PROB WITH BENELLI IS THE LACK IN PARTS IN THEIR OWN SERVICE CENTER.... YOU HAVE TO WAIT WEEKS UNTIL THE STOCK IS BACK... MY BENELLI 600 HAD A SUSPENSION PROMBLEM... AND THEY TOLD THEY HAVE TO CHANGE SOMETHING IN THE SUSPENSION BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK... WAITED FOR A MONTH THEN WWNT TO THE SERVICE CENTER AND GOT IT FIXED....

Looks wise imperiale should hv worked more on its tank and front styling , no doubt its a great bike but due to above reason it looks like big brother of bajaj boxer....royal enfield instead looks beast from front....apart from it after sales service also matters

the Headlight could have been a statement , with a lower placing smaller design as used in some of modern day cruisers. The flow of tank could have been a chunky look to prevent a a good well made design becoming a frivolous one....Not expected from famed and reputed ..biking specialists

Depends on your height if your on short side jawa 42 is for you and it is the better of 2 but if your height is more than 5 8" then go for Benelli cause 42 won't look good on you.

Check Benelli Imperiale 400 ideal engine rpm which is 2000 more than double from Royal Enfield. No enjoyment on slow running like Royal Enfield. No slow beat sound.
