Bass Bonanza - Benton County MDC Pond

This video is a companion of the "Panfish Bonanza" that was filmed on 15 May. There were also several catfish caught the same day and they will appear in a shorter video coming up soon.
Z-Man Shad FryZ did really well and a Z-Man Sling BladeZ spinnerbait caught several others. Lastly, 3 inch Bear Paws Garden Worms in "Funky" color were terrific - as usual.
Although no big bass were caught on this trip, I know there are some in this MDC pond. In years past, with "normal" water levels, big bass were very likely to show up. The sustained drought in W Central Missouri and elsewhere has been rough on these small MDC ponds.
Rudie has a cute cameo for his fans.
Sparky was adequately besmirched but not injured in the making of this film hahaha.
