This thing is glorious. The sculpt underneath and the way they did the tattered clothes is just awesome. It is officially my favorite Neca figure ever
How you can forcibly peel up all the tattered clothes to see magnificently applied rotty flesh literally everywhere just blows me away, SO much detail for areas you'll never otherwise see no matter how elaborately you pose him. There are tons of NECA figs I think are friggin masterpieces of craft when compared with the rather low price point, but yeah just maybe this is the tops. For sure the coolest Jason fig they ever put out, the crazy long wait was totally worth it.

My Walmart had the Michael Myers from Kills and ‘18.
That's what I was thinking why Neca release a new jason figure "Jason Takes Manhattan" but when will they do?

I really appreciate the kind words thank you Niko. When I review something I tend to try and think at the time look if I wanted to see this figure before buying it what would be most important thing, one of them being really having the figure super close so you can see the details on it, I don't understand why some reviewers keep the figure so far away from the camera and then wave their hands in front of them while talking I don't think that really helps anyone that's interested in the figure

Don't know if I've ever waited longer for a collectible, from waiting for NECA to announce they were continuing the line, to the countless delays in manufacturing and shipping. But they sure did make it worth the wait, because this thing is AWESOME.
So happy they finally released a Kane Hodder Jason. Picked up 2 of these, one for display, one kept sealed and got signed by Kane!

This figure is awesome, I love he comes with a ton of accessories and that they changed the mask design, amazingly detailed brilliantly painted, so many option to display with, so much so it’s hard to decide. I’m so excited to get this figure and luckily it won’t be to long for me.

I got this guy for Christmas this year, and holy smokes. He’s my absolute favorite figure of all time. The detail on the figure is amazing, the two layers of plastic for his clothing is like… the best thing I’ve ever seen on a figure ever. The craftsmanship on the hands, the spine and flesh on his back, his face, and the mask is AWESOME. I’m so happy with the figure, its so accurate to the movie I’m in love!!! (figuratively lol)

Finally! I got this figure 2 months ago, and of the five Jasons I own, he is easily my favorite. I got lucky in my hometown. They had only 2 in stock. As soon as I could, I snatched it up.

I just recently bought this figure and I have to say this thing is great
Fortunately, I was able to pick this figure up from Best Buy last week. I was very lucky because they had only one left. The Friday the 13th Part 7 the New Blood Jason Voorhees is easily one of my favorite, if not my favorite Jason Voorhees figure that NECA has produced. The sculpt, paint application and details have all been done rather nicely. I really like the exposed and charred flesh, as well as the exposed rib cage. I also really like the tattered and torn nature of the outfit. The cracked hockey mask is a nice inclusion on the part of NECA. The figure comes included with a pretty good amount of accessories. Overall, I'm very impressed with this version of Jason Voorhees. I'm glad that I was able to add it to my existing collection. With that aside, thanks as always Spot for another wonderful video. I greatly appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!
I'm glad Neca made this figure so accessible to fans. I've seen it quite a few times and truly, it is a masterpiece. Best Jason figure ever made in my opinion.

Even though I know damn well the accessories aren't actually sharp, I still always get startled when Spot pretends that they are lmao
This is probably going to be my figure of the year. I've had it since late August (which was crazy since NECA figures usually release later in the UK) and it's been sitting at that top spot ever since. It's just such a great design that I've been waiting for for so long and they executed so well, he's the centerpiece of my NECA horror shelf.
My only issues are I think the proportions compared to the film are maybe a tiny bit off, the heads I think are slightly too big (and they eye colour is wrong). I also find the hands are a little loose after swapping them, but that's been an issue with the newer wrist pegs on NECA figures which I won't complain about since they're WAY better than the earlier ball/socket joints.
For me the mask is a bit too big and the body is too thin for kane hodder especially his neck
Fun fact that knife Jason uses in part 7 was the same stunt knife that ends up being used in Halloween 6 which the prop person sold to hard rock cafe
Such a beautiful figure. Been waiting for this ultimate figure of part 7. I still own my OG Cult Classics part 7 (card re-release). I just ordered this and can't wait for it to be delivered in the mail.

Another awesome review. The best Jason look in the series. This takes me back to the McFarlane Movie Maniacs Jason. It had a pretty innovative sculpt, including different layers. One of the first 7 inch action figures that started my whole collection.
This may be my favorite NECA figure. There's so much detail put into it.

Part 7 Jason has always been my dream figure and of course now I’m craving Part 8, but this figure more than exceeded my expectations and all the years of waiting were totally worth it.
I’m gonna fluctuate the poses and weapons.

My favorite of the NECA Jason releases to date. My only complaint is that the handle on my brush cutter weapon broke off. Had to super glue it and it didn’t glue the cleanest.
Other than that love this look for Jason. The rotted body and bones sticking out plus shredded clothing and mask with a chunk missing makes him look so cool.
Yeah actually one of the recent Friday 7 Jasons that I picked up that was a reissue I had a problem with my brush cutter handle also. Have you been collecting all the NECA Jasons and if so what would be your Top 3 you think?

This figure is awesome!!! A must have. It is really funny you mentioned how happy you are because as I listened to your great video I thought "he sounds almost giddy with this figure". I also agree about the re-use of the figure, it would be amazing if neca could get the f13 the game figure rights and do a Savini Jason using this mold.
I think you should do the American werewolf in London but the werewolf figure with the interchangeable head @REVIEWSPOT
Also, be very careful with the brush cutter. Mine broke at the point where the motor attaçhes. Displayed once & it snapped taking it out of his hand. 🤬
Always heat them hands under hot water and make them more pliable

I've watched your review a bunch of times. I totally agree this figure is so damn good and it has a lot of fantastic accessories to boot. Out of all the Jason figures produced, this is the best sculpt of the bunch.
I agree its definitely up there top 3 for me, its got the best sculpt, I'm also a big fan of the Friday 4 Jason too, especially with some of the recent reissues we've gotten of that figure. Are you also collecting the NECA Jason Voorhees figures?

Just a suggestion, if you end up purchasing a 2nd figure you could display him with the rock and chain from the accessory pack to recreate Jason’s resurrection in part 7

Just found this guy today at fye and there was a total of three of them. I feel like I got really lucky because the figure seems to be hard to find at retail stores. I still hoping to find a Halloween kills figure too.

I met Kane Hodder at a horror convention in 2019. He is a huge guy. So the part 7 Jason is accurate. Great review and great figure 👍

I have the DVD for part 7, and in the special features they show the kills that were edited out.. the brush cutter kill scene is gruesome.
Just picked this bad boy up today. Gotta say its definitely the best Ultimate figure I've ever seen. I loved the detail on the part 5 Roy figure from last year but honestly this one just dominates all the others. Had to fight with online orders at Best Buy for a while just to buy him. Figures like this remind me why I collect. Absolutely worth the wait!!!

Just about to unbox, still the go to review for me great stuff , I find the hairdryer perfect for loosening joints to get the most from articulation, happy it arrived in Ireland mid December 🤩

Awesome figure with great detail! The only problem I had with it is how hard it is to put the accessories in the hands. Specifically the weed eater. The handle bar is easy to snap so be careful! I guess I'll just super glue mine.
Yeah it doesn't help either that the plastic for his hands are super hard plastic, really gotta heat those before trying to get the accessories into them. Sorry to hear that your handle broke though. is that the weapon you have him displayed with now?

I had to grab 2 lol I was lucky to grab em from target's website when they were put up on there,but wasn't having any luck in stores or online that wasnt triple the price,was definitely looking forward to this review as well,hope we get a pt 8 as well and won't have to wait multiple years for it 😄

Even though the accessories are awesome, I would say his best weapon would be his own two head crushing hands … at least on film.
Got this figure today and I love it. Now all we need is a part 8 to complete the series of figures. Another thing is when I was younger, part 7 was my favorite Jason but part 8 is my favorite now but having a part 7 Jason brings back nostalgia.
if i was neca, i would have included a sleeping bag big enough to put a small barbie doll or other neca figure in, so you can recreate that kill from the movie, very creative, Jason
Spot, I would recommend heating up the shoulders. It should usually move farther out than that.

I just got mine and the leg snapped off at the knee as soon as removed it from the box and tried carefully bending the knee. Idk what I did wrong.
oh no, your leg snapped right off? did the joint in the leg seem tight when you were trying to move it?
Ball joint in the head and the shirt on his back makes it really hard to put the rock and chain set together...

this figure is amazing,
so glad they made it, I almost want to get another so I can actually open it,
now all we need is Jason goes to NY,
Jason goes to heck, witch in reality is NY, but movie wise,
an my most anticipated wanted Jason would be Jason x, the reg version could come with some cool stuff,
and uber Jason,
on a side note id love to see a fright night line, there is quite a few scary characters they could do there,
and the evil within could be another series they could do amazing thing's with,
there is so many monster's and human characters with lots of different weapons,
between the 2 game's, it's almost like the series was made with merchandise in mind,
i really wish they would have done more dead space and resident evil figures,
since I missed the originals, an im sure other's did as well,
especially ds, since the remake is coming,
the Callisto protocol is a early pick, but i bet it will have some really cool monster's etc.
we actually got krampus, on the way, very excited for that,
I really hope it has different masks and his actual face,
there is so many cool goodies they could package him with,
the ginger bread men, the demonic teddy, the jack in the box,
his big sack of toys, his slay,
a chimney with stocking's,
so many that I'm sure they will have to do an accessories pack, or multiple figures, maybe with some of the human characters and weapons
