another correction! gojo's quote is "yowai mon"
for japanese nerds, "mon" is used to indicate that something is the reason for something. in this case, fire guy's weakness is the reason gojo isnt worried about itadori being there

@@rhakeim135 not true, chan just means they are probably related(probably said by a young child, too). onii is always older brother. onii san can also be used to refer to a young adult male stranger. like "young man!"

Not all of these are acccurate.
“Ohayo!” and “Ohayo gozaimasu!” don’t mean hello, that would be “Kon’ichiwa”. They actually read as, “Good morning!” Also, gozaimasu is only used to convey respect to your superiors. That means, if you were, for example, just speaking with a friend, you would just say, “Ohayo,” but if you were speaking to a teacher (or sensei) you would add the “gozaimasu” at the end. This is actually a common misconception, like how people think “senpai” means a crush or loved one. It actually, also, just conveys respect towards listeners. If I said (please bare, with me I’ve only been studying for a couple months), “Kimi wa daijobu desu, desho, [Insert name here] senpai?” That translates to, “You are alright, right, [Name]?” Notice how I said, “Kimi,” and not, “Anata,” or,”Omae.” You could say senpai to anybody whom you have a great respect for.
Now I don’t know about a lot of the OTHER words in this, but some of these aren’t 100% accurate. And as I finish typing this, I realize that SOME of it was already corrected. Smh 😓 (or in the words of Jotaro, “やれ やれ.” Which means sigh btw, but I’m just about done now.) Ja ne!

Some fixes as duty of a weeb :
You can't translate "Yowai mo" into you're weak since that line has started with "datte kimi" used in saying but you're going with weak
Ganbare already means doing your best without a second one
Itadaki simply means that they accept it (the food) masu being added in the meaning of will so simply I will accept your offer or whatever
chotto matte kudasai means please (kudasai) wait (matte) chotto (a bit, can be used in different meanings)
Yokatta (not yogata) more likely means being glad but thank godness means almost same thing but just saying
Uso means lie and daro means right (question) used in saying it can't be real (many uses in english like you used you cant be serious)
aikawarazu used in english means as you said but in detail it means never changes
words like aitsu, omae, temee are rude ways of meaning someone (you)
bikkuri means being suprised/shocked if you wanna call it scary then it's "kowai"
chikara means power not strength (not the same things if you ask)
Muri has many ways of use but you can call it "no way" to be accurate generally
dete ike (can also be used to say go away)
hashiru doesn't mean hurry but running hayaku means hurry
hidoi can also be used as rude or rough
iranai just means not needing, it doesn't mean not wanting it
kimochi doesn't mean feeling good, it just means feel/feelings
kokoro is generally used as spiritual meaning of heart such as my hear hurts you can call it shinzou if it's physical (you guys know that ig)
tsundere actually means a type of personality in anime where a woman hates the protagonist but slowly gets to love etc. (still prideful tho)

    • @twothreeoneoneseventwoonefour5
      @twothreeoneoneseventwoonefour5 2 года назад +1

Itadakimasu generally means "I accept (this)", but that is only when someone actually offers you some item(present?). When you say it before eating something it doesn't really have any actual meaning. Basically it is there as a ritual. Don't try to think deeply about this. I say it for your sake.
Chikara meanings of power and strength are interchangeable. I don't know about english, but in Japanese it is so.
Hayaku does not mean "hurry", Isogu(急ぐ) does. But you can say "Hayaku!" as "Faster!" when you want someone to hurry. But I repeat, hayaku is not hurry.
For Iranai, you are technically right, but they are again interchangeable. When you don't want something(someone offers you something), you never say "hoshikunai", you say "iranai". So translating it to english as not wanting is perfectly fine.

Trust me though, if you go to Japan or speak to a Japanese speaker using the language you pick up from anime, you will offend a lot of people as it is normally very informal speech or plays on wording. With the the respect system in Japan being very important, there are differing phrases to use that won’t make people hate you.

An interesting video, shows that you can pick up words from the Japanese language through watching anime.
Though not to be arrogant but I did encounter some minor incorrect rōmaji as I watch through the video (and there are quite a lot) such as:
    - Unable to emphasize lengthened vowels:
    xSoka
    ○ So*u*ka「そうか」
    - Lengthening vowels that aren't supposed to be lengthened:
    xOmae wa mo shindeirou
    ○ Omae wa mou shinde*iru* | 「お前はもう死んでいる
Nonetheless, nice video! It just proves that watching anime can really give you words but not teach you the language itself. If only we can be careful next time since teaching incorrect concepts can be misleading and we don't want to spread that (≧▽≦)b.

yoroshiku onegaishimasu means "nice to meet you" along with hajimemashite and hajimemashite douzo yoroshiku with the same meaning hajimemashite and yoroshiku is the informal version so if you"re talking to an old lady/guy and you wanna greet them just say yoroshiku onegashimasu or hajimemashite douzo yoroshiku

    • @oyoo3323
      @oyoo3323 2 года назад

Way off... Hajimemashite is used at the beginning of a greeting, while yoroshiku(onegaishimasu) is used at the end of it. That's the actual difference. And yoroshiku does in fact roughly translate to "I'll forward to working with you". I'm not sure what your sources are, but you should reevaluate them.
