  • The most common problem for PSU Fan is clogging with the dust. You
can clean the dust around the PSU Fan and air vent. Cleaning out of dust
may fix the speed of the PSU Fan and the fan detection issue also. You
should clean the PSU fan dust with brush or blower and clear the clogs with
    an electronic contact cleaner.

Just wanted to say, I've been repairing PCs for over 20 years and I've never seen anyone suggest spraying WD-40 into fan coils. I can't say whether that will actually help with fan failure warnings (doubtful), but it will certainly make a gooey mess once the thing starts collecting more dust. If the fan isn't spinning smoothly (making noise), then you need to pull the fan out of the power supply and oil the bearing... not just spray rust inhibitor all over the coils\fins.
Also, it is NOT recommended that you open up a power supply at all unless you know what you're doing. Sadly, the way the person in the video is holding onto the internal parts and using a toothbrush to clean the thing (rather than compressed air or a blower of some kind) makes me questing whether they know that what they're doing is dangerous. I've been cleaning and repairing power supplies for years, and I've never had an issue, but I also haven't just grabbed onto the internal parts of one right after unplugging it. Most modern power supplies are going to be built in a way that they discharge the internal capacitors eventually (eventually!!) after being unplugged, but unless you know it is discharged you shouldn't be grabbing onto the internal components... and again, unless you have at least some understanding of how\why a power supply can kill you, you shouldn't be opening it up in the first place. A bunch of volts going into your hand, across your heart and out your other hand\foot can kill you dead in a fraction of a second.
I would suggest removing the power supply from the computer (unplug everything, just in case the connectors are dusty), blowing it out as best you can with whatever you have available from every possible angle, then putting it back in. If it's still complaining about the fan, the fan (or the PSU) is either truly going bad and needs replaced or you need to assess whether you know enough about what is going on in there to work on it safely. Tearing into it and grabbing onto every metal part possible, jamming a tooth brush into it and spraying grease all over the fan blades is not the solution. If the method in the video worked, it was the cleaning of the fan blades that did it, or simply unplugging and reconnected the power supply connectors (some are for fan monitoring) on the motherboard.
Replacement power supplies for these units can be found extremely easily online and there is no shame in replacing a part if you absolutely do not have the knowledge required to attempt diagnostics
    epairs safely.

The subtext notes that a "fast drying electronic cleaning solution" is to be used. The video does not recommend WD40. If you look carefully you can see part of the label on the can reading "contact cleaner". There is nothing wrong with this.
