i know everyone compliments "colour my world"'s animations, but i think ignis araneae yo yo has the best. i just prefer its grace, speed and pure lethality.
I'm here just trying to find some early game weapons that don't suck as a DMC vet (as in, literally, the real DMC released on PS2 not DmC) personally I think "Colour My World" are absolutely shite, extremely short range melee attacks that are also on the slower side with long range attacks that are weak AF. Even G-Pillar is better, at least attacks with that have a bit of reach with wind up times you can easily calculate for combined with a mad jump/dash ability. Ignis Araneae Yo-Yo look like they could be my all-game weapon of choice as it looks like a balanced weapon, kinda like the Alistor sword in DMC, not the most powerful but highly versatile in human and demon form.
@@ketxxx1 compared to love is blue and scarborough fair, colour my world is cereza's worst pair of guns. in bayo 1 and 2, her guns were more versatile and balanced. they had a decent amount of complexity, but were simple enough so new players could learn the ropes. colour my world is her most beautiful pair of guns animation wise, but her previous 2 just felt so much stronger and faster. ignis araneae yo yo is easily my fave weapon tho, i try to mix it up a little and never stick with the same weapons but my GOD i love how fast it is. odette was also my fave bayo 1 weapon despite it's obvious weaknesses tho so maybe im biased towards speedy weapons haha
@@miraloow I haven't played Bayo 1 or 2 yet (they are in the post) I deliberately started with 3 so I could take it with a completely clean perspective and even with that I wouldn't give 3 more than a 6/10 as it currently is with patch 1.2. Dreadful performance, combat is interrupted WAY too much with cutscenes or text and new players aren't given a chance to get a feel for anything because of that. I think my largest 2 gripes though is that you can't set your own control scheme (holding ZL to summon rather than it being a toggle is a major pain in the arse) and a lot of enemies feel unreasonably fast\agile compared to the majority of Cereza's offensive options and dodge ability, though I think the latter would be fine if her dodge was about twice as far so she can actually close ground quickly with turd weapons like Colour my World. I could actually point out a lot of issues I’ve noticed already simply from experience playing similar games but in short Bayo 3 to me feels like it wasn't playtested at all for balancing. Funny side note: All first party Nintendo games I’ve bought I’ve had an email asking what I think of them, but no such email for Bayo 3, I wonder why that is lol.
These feel the most satisfying to use out of all the weapons, the very fast combos with the charge modifier constantly chipping away at enemies so quickly feels amazing, if only this game let you mix weapons like Colour My World on the feet, then you'd get reliable combo points going as you dodge. + It's the strongest Crow Within dash attack cause you get to rapidly stab them with your spider legs
@@RicochetForce You can use backwards-forwards punch instead of Umbran Spear, it's much faster and more responsive. I don't use Umbran Speae much With Abracadabra anyway, since the range of the weapon is quite insane.
Your editing and....eye for memorable scenes, for lack of a better word...are fantastic. I can't believe you aren't MUCH more popular. Know that your videos convinced me to buy B3. If you had a super thanks enabled, I'd absolutely donate. Heck, the way you do the combos anime style, multiple picture-in-pictures extending each move? That's worth compensation ALONE.
Thank you so much! I thought whatever I'm doing was in vain. Your kind words gives me hopes and words can't express enough. Thank you once again and I hope you're having a blast in Bayonetta 3.
Great video as always, the way you edit the angles together scratches my brain just right. Also, this is one of the few Bayo3 movesets I'm actually fond of! However, it does exemplify an issue with Bayo3- Demon Masquerade's method of implementation detracts from subtler moves and finishers to make combos more aesthetically pleasing when linked. For example, the way that random techniques use Masq means that the weapons themselves don't have as much of an opportunity to shine. I don't dislike Demon Masquerade whatsoever, I think it's very fun as a mechanic, but it definitely could have been implemented better.
From my point of vew, it's simply a more flashy but versatile version of Wicked Weaves. Aesthetically, it's a powerful finisher, but if I'd had to compromise with your argument, I would say, they should had replaced Wink Slave finishers with Demon Masquerade combo finishers.
@@solracstormhunter3023 I feel it could've been better to do something like that, or make a button into a straight-up transformation button so you can just enter the form at will. For instance, say you can equip three weapons. You use the d-pad to select your weapon, hold on the d-pad to select your demon. ZL controls Wicked Weaves and Demon Slave, L controls Masquerade.
