Amen! Im raising my grandson as a single grandparent. He clearly has a calling on his life, even BEFORE he was born. I have changed my life completely so that I can do my best to raise him as God would have me raise him (to the best of my ability). My Child is 4 years old. I became a Christian while pregnant. I m terrified of her growing up in this world. I get so discouraged...There are so many horrible paths. I jut want to prepare her and help her choose the right path.

Lol! Thanks for your encouragement. And I thank God that He gave me these two. I’m striving to ensure I take my role seriously and that they see Christ in their father daily.
If you think children that are home schooled and sheltered from the world as much as possible are not going to go wild and delve into sin you're being foolish. You're being completely unrealistic and should acknowledge it. Most people tell you this fact as evidence that you should expose your kids to world so they learn to cope with it as they grow. My own wife thinks this and it's terrible advice. Teach your children by example as this video suggests. Home schooling is you're absolute best option. Instill in them the truth of God's word. At the end of the day you have to let them make the decision to serve God or not, you can't control them forever. They go wild for a period, so what? Not saying its a good thing but in their hearts they will know there's a better way and will return to it. In this day and age there is no way to block everything the world advocates completely so they WILL be adjusted or equipped enough to overcome. But again that's a choice only they can make. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is older, he will not depart from it. Don't forget v15 aswell. (edit) And for God's sake don't send your kids to any kind of college! They are indoctrination stations and should be properly called the Synagogue of Satan!

I’m just trying to say we have to compete with the world so as parents we better be great examples of Christ before our children. And you’re right you can’t force them but we must expose them to the Lord as best we can.
The Living The Life Show, Very true, it is definitely a competition. I am a success story if that encourages anyone. Hope it does. I was home schooled through the 12th grade and got my GED. I make a comfortable living (God has blessed me) and I attend worship 2-3 times a week. Leading prayer/song service equally as the rest of the brethren: I also speak now and then though I wouldn't describe myself to be very comfortable with public speaking. Brainwash our kids that some Greater Power loves them without conditions and has a special plan for their lives because they are precious in His eyes. Brainwash them to honor their Creator, obey their parents, and be sensitive to others' needs. Brainwash them to always be grateful, joyful, and prayerful in all circumstances. Brainwash them that their sins are forgiven by Jesus' sacrifice and no more condemnation so they are free of fear and able to forgive others. Brainwash them to never give up and there is always hope in Christ because either God will catch them when they fall or teach them to fly no matter how high the edge of their difficulty is... Sorry, no brainwashing into obedience, no brainwashing to love God, no brainwashing that Jesus gave his life for us and we are forever indebted. Talks about principles we think are important, saying other people have them and some don't, telling kids God loves them no matter what they do and hopes you find your way... Even if it is without God, remember the principles... Saying Yeshua was a brave man who took a stand and died for his principles...Talking about how that is a life worth living... Mentioning others who died for similar reasons like Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Thomas a Bec, Jeanne D'Arc, and Madame Curie... Encouraging questions, interacting, saying I don't know because I am just human and older, I may or may not be wise... Perhaps returning to Yeshua (Jesus) and saying his message was forgiveness, repentance, and changing. Seeking to serve others was at the heart of what he did... Saying Buddha was important cause he sought tranquillity and gave us the Eightfold Path, sorrowing for Socrates because he died for truth and believed in Apeiron, the unknown intelligent creation force... You don't always have to die to serve humanity, you can be Jonas Salk, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sagan, Victor Hugo or Charles Dickens. You can be a teacher, a cop, or a fireman or just a poor schlub who goes to work and pays the bills. You can be Frodo entering Mordor, Spiderman fighting the Goblin, or a nurse or doctor, grocery store clerk who takes cans from boxes and puts them on shelves. You can be a gas station attendant. So many people make our lives comfortable and the world a better place. Then we will kick up our feet, eat popcorn as we watch a movie... and Jimmy Stewart will teach us about unsung heroes and that it really is a wonderful life...

If you think children that are home schooled and sheltered from the world as much as possible are not going to go wild and delve into sin you're being foolish. You're being completely unrealistic and should acknowledge it. Most people tell you this fact as evidence that you should expose your kids to world so they learn to cope with it as they grow. My own wife thinks this and it's terrible advice. Teach your children by example as this video suggests. Home schooling is you're absolute best option. Instill in them the truth of God's word. At the end of the day you have to let them make the decision to serve God or not, you can't control them forever.
They go wild for a period, so what? Not saying its a good thing but in their hearts they will know there's a better way and will return to it.
In this day and age there is no way to block everything the world advocates completely so they WILL be adjusted or equipped enough to overcome.
But again that's a choice only they can make.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is older, he will not depart from it.
Don't forget v15 aswell.

I’m just trying to say we have to compete with the world so as parents we better be great examples of Christ before our children. And you’re right you can’t force them but we must expose them to the Lord as best we can.

I am a success story if that encourages anyone. Hope it does.
I was home schooled through the 12th grade and got my GED. I make a comfortable living (God has blessed me) and I attend worship 2-3 times a week. Leading prayer/song service equally as the rest of the brethren: I also speak now and then though I wouldn't describe myself to be very comfortable with public speaking.

Brainwash our kids that some Greater Power loves them without conditions and has a special plan for their lives because they are precious in His eyes. Brainwash them to honor their Creator, obey their parents, and be sensitive to others' needs. Brainwash them to always be grateful, joyful, and prayerful in all circumstances. Brainwash them that their sins are forgiven by Jesus' sacrifice and no more condemnation so they are free of fear and able to forgive others. Brainwash them to never give up and there is always hope in Christ because either God will catch them when they fall or teach them to fly no matter how high the edge of their difficulty is... WHY NOT brainwash them??? Do you have kids? Do you know any better ways to live in this corrupted world? May God bless you!

Talks about principles we think are important, saying other people have them and some don't, telling kids God loves them no matter what they do and hopes you find your way... Even if it is without God, remember the principles... Saying Yeshua was a brave man who took a stand and died for his principles...Talking about how that is a life worth living... Mentioning others who died for similar reasons like Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Thomas a Bec, Jeanne D'Arc, and Madame Curie...
Encouraging questions, interacting, saying I don't know because I am just human and older, I may or may not be wise...
Perhaps returning to Yeshua (Jesus) and saying his message was forgiveness, repentance, and changing. Seeking to serve others was at the heart of what he did...
Saying Buddha was important cause he sought tranquillity and gave us the Eightfold Path, sorrowing for Socrates because he died for truth and believed in Apeiron, the unknown intelligent creation force...
You don't always have to die to serve humanity, you can be Jonas Salk, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sagan, Victor Hugo or Charles Dickens. You can be a teacher, a cop, or a fireman or just a poor schlub who goes to work and pays the bills. You can be Frodo entering Mordor, Spiderman fighting the Goblin, or a nurse or doctor, grocery store clerk who takes cans from boxes and puts them on shelves. You can be a gas station attendant.
So many people make our lives comfortable and the world a better place.
Then we will kick up our feet, eat popcorn as we watch a movie... and Jimmy Stewart will teach us about unsung heroes and that it really is a wonderful life...
