- This is a Chinese Marching Song used within the Republic of China (1912-1949) under the Kuomintang / Chiang Kai-Shek leadership.
The picture depicts Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek adressing some Chinese soldiers. Chiang Kai-Shek was the leader of China during WW2, and after the Chinese Civil War, leader of the exiled Kuomintang government in Taiwan until his death in 1975.
