The "Fodge" - Doug's Model A Ford With A Dodge Heart - Holley MoParty

Twenty-five years ago, when Doug Oswald decided to quit drinking, he found himself in need of a purpose. So, for six months, Doug focused on building "Fodge" - a Model A Ford with a Dodge engine. Fodge is equipped with a powerful 504ci Dodge engine built by Carl McQuillen and features several Holley brand parts. The transmission is a Dodge 727 with some upgraded components. Fodge symbolizes triumph over Doug's past struggles, and we love that Doug plans to keep racing for as long as he lives!

I agree, very nice. I'm a Ford guy so naturally I'm gonna be a little sad to see the Mopar in it. However I can put that to the side, as I can tell you're having a ball with it. I say if it puts a smile on your face, then keep doing it nonmatter what anyone else thinks. =) I also got in some trouble with alcohol and just got 3yrs sober last week. I don't have a hotrod like yours, but I did get myself a nice Mustang instead with the money saved from quitting.
