- A Typical Day In West Africa’s Largest Indoor Market - Kejetia Market in Kumasi , Ghana | Ghana’s First Indoor Market
I spend the day in Kumasi , Kejetia in the indoor market. We experience the Ghanaian people , Ghana food including the cost of some items and get a real feel of life in a Ghana Market , West Africa.
This video will particularly help africans in the diaspora who want to experience and move to Ghana, Africa. This video also depicts what Africa living is like for African Americans seeking to know more as part of the Year of Return / Beyond the return.

I have seen this market a few times, from different vloggers. Yours was the best. Your interaction made it relatable. Thanks for such great content.
Wooww! This is quite a feat. It has undoubtedly made my day 😊 😘
I totally agree. Was literally going to say the same thing. I felt like I was there myself lol
@@BecksFlavour aww thanks hun 😊
Very true.. I live in kumasi. This vlog is better than when serwaa Judith, the Acheampong Family, Ama jasmine & even Wode Maya visited. They didn't take their time to get your details.
@@thyeocroft205 we all go with our channel’s vision in mind so I don’t think we can compare whose was better as the channel goals may differ. Likewise, viewers want different experiences so others may not necessarily prefer mine. But I’m honestly humbled that my video has an audience who enjoy it so thank you very much, you’re appreciated 🙏🏾😊
What impresses me is the that the market is clean and neat. I lived and worked in Accra but surprisingly I didn't find Accra dwellers that friendly to non-Ghanaians. Much love from Cameroon
Ghanaian are calmly and friendly people. This is huge supermarket ❤️
I think that’s what sets Ghanaians apart. ❤️
Ghanese
President Addo was right when he visited us in Jamaica. We should come home to Ghana.

True 💯
When did he visit?

Look at how Ghanaians are friendly, here in Nigeria if the see you with Camera or phone the next thing don't video me oo. Amazing vlog dear 🥰 Kumasi is a nice place, I have Ghanaians living here in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria 🇳🇬 Ga
Thank you very much 🙏🏾
Same thing in Jamaica you can’t go video people like this in our largest and dirty market. These ppl were friendly and market clean.

@@val-bm3so I receive it in faith 🙌🏾
YOU HAVE A REAL WARM CHEMISTRY WITH PEOPLE, AND A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR AND COMPASSION. I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING YOU INTERACT. AND, OF COURSE, YOU ARE VERY PRETTY TOO.
Aww this means so much to me. Thank you for the kind words hun. I really appreciate you 😘
Accra , Temale and Tardi all needs this. Then ban selling on the roadsides, so people can be taxed properly.
We certainly need one in all regions
Need about 10 of these before
Ghanaplaylist You want people to be taxed properly there will only be one winner and it won't be the common man the government will squander the money it happens all over the world, tax is what the rich impose on the poor to keep themselves rich ! they don't pay tax.
@@jerryrawlings8885 papa j did u resurrect?😂 That's the sad truth tho.but atleast the westerners have used thiers to develop their country.so I wouldn't say everywhere ,african leaders mostly are the problem .they will squander all the money 🤑🤑

Ghana is a peaceful country to live, see how they are friendly,.Kejetia market is one in a million, thanks for showing us around dear👍👌😘
Our people are so friendly, you just have to love them. ❤️
Ghana is the most peaceful country in Africa. Facts! Look up the most peaceful contries. Ghana is at the top.
I’ve been saving and planning to visit Ghana for a least a 2 week stay, but serious honest question how do y’all treat African Americans ? I’m black and Mexican so I know I’ll probably be perceived as an outsider that needs to go back to the states🤣🤎 But I’ll take that over always feeling like I have to be aware of my surroundings and stressing in the US
@@okcfanbutmostlyakdfan8304 the honest truth is anyone even with a little hint of an accent (including myself) is easily spotted from miles. However, there’s huge respect for us because we’re perceived to be ‘rich’ ‘affluent’ and almost ‘superior’. This has its positives and negatives as you’ll be shown extra love (eventhough Ghanaians are naturally loving), but some will inflate prices when you’re out shopping so you have to be vigilant. With all that said, the love, peace and freedom you’ll feel is incomparable to life in the west.
@@AkuaDimples Thank you, that’s definitely reassuring and the peacefulness was evident in this great video. All love this is what I needed to commit to it !!
Ghanaian are so friendly and cute. God bless Ghana ❤️❤️
Akua I think you had an awesome inner happiness when you saw the smiles of the kids u dashed them ghc1. You even talking to them politely and with smiles meant a lot more to them.
Keep it up. Ghanaians are generally so friendly and warm hearted. God bless us all
Awww thank you very much. It doesn’t cost anything to be friendly to people I guess. I just love being home and that alone gives me so much joy. Indeed God bless us all 🙏🏾 I appreciate your kind words
The last time I went to Ghana the market looked different. I can't wait to visit my beloved city Kumasi and its market. Thanks for showing us❤️

Your interaction with the market women is just heartwarming...great content 👌🏾
Thank you 🙏🏾
Ghana is the best place to be with lovely people all over
You’re so right bro. The people is what I love most
My favorite part is seeing ramps and no stairs for easy movement👍🏼 I'm in the states and I hear people say I can't find small washcloths for bathing here then you buy a sponge for bathing. I prefer sponges here, maybe I am Ghanaian😎😆🤣
I think you’re 100% Ghanaian also, if you prefer sponges 🤣🙌🏾🙌🏾
AHAA,,, I finally figured it out, I will go to the Market to find a Ghanaian wife lol.
So many different beautiful women be there.. it's a perfect plan.

Ghanaians and their staring. At times l felt really uncomfortable my visit with the staring. Grocery shopping in Ghana is extremely affordable comparing that to here in Canada. Am definitely going there next year on my visit.
I don’t let the staring bother me uno. I think it happens everywhere when something appears foreign. But the food is very affordable and organic. Hope you enjoy your visit next year.
As our eyes dey "open" with the cameras/foreigners/RUclipsrs in our space we'd get better 😀. Kumasi is becoming more cosmopolitan so hopefully things'd change

Dimples if you think this market is big, you need to go to Bangkok Thailand, there is a market there that 500,000 people go to every sat and sun, and is called Chatuchak Market.
I am looking at possibly coming to Ghana to start a fish farm i have designed, that you can get 14000 tilapia in an area of 25 sq meters.
We’re not comparing market,we’re talking about kejetia market in Kumasi Ghana not Thailand
The sour face and the sour fruit (alasa in Ga language ,akasa in twi )
It is the best market complex in Africa .
1) this type market complex should be established in every . country of Africa and every cities of a country
2) the beautiful wide space in the market and covering the roof and no bicycle , no motorcycle , no car and mini truck and neat and clean by Munciparlty staff every day and night .
I 100% agree
Oh so this how the market looks like. But Akua loves food. Hahaha. The market is big ooo. Like Kaneshie market ryt
