❤ the new modern FBP schemes….but 1. Floor vents, no. 2. Brown wood valances, no (fabric softens it and modernizes it). 3. Brown wood trim throughout, no. 4. No way to fully darken the windows with those shades. 5. No island extension(s). 6. Sink is old school compared to Jayco. 7. Brown (again) wood pantry. 8. Brown wood bedroom surround. Also ❤ bathroom, shower wall pattern and shower lighting. Keystone Montana Legacy was a real competitor to Jayco Pinnacle, but the new Pinnacle and even the North Point are WAY more modern, otherwise the Montana would be in my top three!
Would like to see a headboard with shelf and hidden space in it. It would make the sides easier they are still hard to make the bed as the bed slide is so deep. I’ll keep looking but it is a nice unit.
@marklutes8929 your disc breaks shouldn't be grabbing so hard that you're noticing. What do you have your controller set at? The thing about ABS is that they are still drum brakes. Keep in touch. I have heard there may be some ABS coming in disc. That's where your stopping power is in IMO

@ScottW-b7z all of the main slides, such as living areas on the main level, would be hydraulic. The small slide boxes on upper decks will be cable. This change was made due to all of the issues with the schwintech systems
One of the reasons Montana kept the tank system was partly due to full timing or long stays. Montana has the heat coils in their ac in 2 of the units, which saves consumption of LP, same with the Electric/Gas/Both tank style systems.
@@crickaden Your opinion isn't uncommon. However, when Keystone performed testing in their innovation lab, they found floor vents were far more effective in distributing heat versus vents placed in a wall or cabinet
In the market for a front living 5er in 2026. Love the finishes, but Keystone is still massively missing the mark. Putting the entrance door in front of the slide means NO access to the half bath, or even bedroom on the road? Toe breaker vents still in the floors? Seriously? Is your design team awake? @keyblazerslittlegarage3563 Thank you for your feedback. I understand the importance of convenient bathroom and bedroom layouts. While the current floor plan you're interested in is one of only two of 10 models that don't provide this convenience, Montana is continually working to improve Floorplan designs based on customer feedback. The engineering team at the Keystone Innovation Lab continues actively researching and testing floor vent systems. Current studies indicate that floor vents provide the most efficient method for distributing temperature evenly throughout the RV. They remain committed to ongoing research to enhance the Montana product's comfort and performance. you mentioned being in the market for a new RV in 2026, I encourage you to stay informed about upcoming Montana model changes. It has 3" thick walls and a 12" I beam frame. I don't know what you tow with but weight has to be considered. Otherwise everyone would need a HDT to tow them. Doesn't make them junk if they are not over 20k.

Did they remove the cpap stands in bedroom?

@user-lx8ee8vq3v that's going to be a hard item to find.
I don't think I have seen anything like that in an RV.
I the window screen shade will cause a problem during pollen season. I take my traditional screens out to wash.
That's a good point. Do you think vacuming them with a brush could be the solution?

I know several people that have had nothing but problems with those cable slides. It's a shame because we really like Montana.
IMO cable are the worst on the market. I find it hard to believe that you don't have more problems with those than any others.
They actually have far less warranty claims. But who knows what new system will hit the industry next
Still why no, on demand water heater on Montanas?
@CharlesHam1906 when surveyed, owners did not want it. They didn't want to give up the option of having a choice between gas and electric.

So I'm curious what Brinkley brings to the game, that makes you feel that other brands don't care about safety?
