Even uncle Peyton and uncle Eli know sitting behind a seasoned college QB isn’t a bad thing. Just cause his last names manning doesn’t make the process any easier. He’s being handled correctly and the elder mannings aren’t on some kardashian diva business. They know the flow and value learning as much as getting on the field to strut talent.

The only person who needs to care about whether or not he’s the starting QB is Arch Manning. And Sark. Let this teenager develop, win the job when it’s his turn, or when injury makes it his turn. Until then let him work on his game under a great coach, chase co-Ed’s, have a beer or two, join Lambda Chi Alpha, pursue a degree, grow up correctly so when you get to the grown man league you’re mature, seasoned, coached up, ready to make huge money. No rush young man.

  • @Farmersforever1993

Arch used his redshirt last year. So he still has 4 years to play. He already stated that he doesn’t mind sitting behind Ewers and learning to become a better QB but also learning the the playbook so when he does start he’ll be ready and not worry about plays and calling. Ewers is also a better QB than Arch right now but good healthy competition breeds greatness.

Those HS stats are nothing. Jake Browning in HS in California at a 6-A higher school his 3 years starting threw for over 12,000
Yards and his senior season he threw 91 touchdowns. Yes I said 91 td passes his senior season. I thought it must be a typo when I saw that but I checked and it’s absolutely true. He hold the national record for most TDS in a year obviously most passing yards In a career and numerous other national records and California records. He went on to play at Washington where when he was a sophomore and throwing to John Ross the speed demon threw 43 tds and only 9 interceptions.

Nah, Jaxson Dart is a straight dog. He’s a vet on the team and his teammates respect him. Arch’s problem is that he’s starter ready and objectively better than Ewers (watch the spring scrimmage if you don’t believe it) but Texas wants to stick with their guy and make him wait a year. Ole Miss would do the same thing. To my knowledge, all of the notable historic NCAA teams currently have a QB they plan on using and aren’t holding competitions between them, meaning Arch can’t get a starter role this year with a team with proper tools for him to show off his talents.
