After the three stars in the Alpha Centauri system, the next closest star to Earth is Barnard’s Star, a red dwarf located 5.96 light-years away. Though dim and not visible to the naked eye, it's known for its rapid movement across the sky relative to other stars.

Likely ejected from a triple+ star system or a dead star companion

If we keep on peering out day in night out and just go on yakking about it, we get the same old same old stories in the same vein too.

At 30:15 ther is a map of the galaxy, showing the relative positions of our star and Tau Ceti, with in the galaxy. It's absolutely rediculous! The map shows Tau Ceti at over twenty thousand light years away. Further away than the galactic core. Get it together man.

How does that first comparison make any sense? “If our sun was a basketball in New York, alpha centuri would be a golf ball in Central Park.”

It doesn't. The golf ball would be near Salt Lake City. Space is vast!

The narrator reminds me of Morgan Freedman.
