While Now 51 is a strong album there's no doubt that the best songs are X Press 2 & The Chemical Brothers while the worst songs are from Allstars (the song belongs in the 80s with Buck Fizz) and Ali G and Shaggy that's just my opinion.
@@robertatkinson1347 52 and 53 are the best Nows of 2002, especially 53. 2002 is better than 2003, in terms of music, but this is the weakest Now between 50-59, followed by 58, whereas 55, 56 and 57 are ok. I think 50, 53 and 54 are the best Nows and 52 and 59 are pretty good also
Christina Milian is underrated and I wish she was just as popular as Aguilera who still wasn't quite as popular as the likes of P!NK, Britney, Beyoncé and Mariah 👌
@sddk2k8theavazarabebeduafan66 yeah and I think she's another artist who was only ever on NOWS, and I think the same goes for Samantha Mumba and Beverly Knight (who both feature on this album too!)

I do actually in a way prefer CD 2 over CD 1 on this one as I find the first CD to be pretty average. The songs I like on CD 2 of this one are 'Handbags and Gladrags', 'How You Remind Me', 'In Too Deep', 'Always On Time', 'Shoulda Woulda Coulda' and 'Lazy'. This is an average NOW overall though, much weaker than NOW 50.
@@robertatkinson1347 I prefer CD2 as well, because there's more variety and every Now album is better with variety, but I agree that this is an average Now album
I now prefer 2002 over 2019, considering that the early 2000s are still much better than the late 2010s, even though the mid and late 2000s and the early and mid 2010s are still better. I now find 2002 on par with 2003 and 2004 if not slightly weaker and although 2019 has slightly better Nows than those years and 2020 and is on par with 2013 and 2016 for Nows if not slightly weaker, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2013, 2016 and 2020 are still really good and are all better than 2019 👌

I have yes and I think it looks pretty good, only criticism being no 'Hello' by Adele and another thing I have also noticed is that there's quite a handful of songs that didn't peak particularly that high in the UK Singles Chart apart from that I can't really have too many complaints, looking forward to seeing what song features in the John Lewis advert this Christmas, let's hope it's a good ' Un Going by it is what the TBC track is it has to be surely?
Back when the least impressive years of music weren't too bad at all with some years of the case being darn good. This is the case with 1987, 2000-2002 being good with 1985 and 1989-1991 slightly above average with the average 1994 and 1998 not too far behind. 2017-2019 have the worst musicwise and Now albumwise, as none of the Nows of those 3 consecutive years were outstanding at all with 2020 being the revival of Now albums and music 😀
Agreed, 'Bad Babysitter' is awful! For me the best song on the second half of CD 2 on this one is 'Lazy' and it's also David Byrne's only appearance on a numbered NOW as sadly the Talking Heads don't feature on any of them.
@@robertatkinson1347 yeah I really like Lazy too, certainly sums up the fact CD2 on here is better than CD1 like the previous two spring Nows (45 & 48), So Lonely, Star Guitar, Drifting Away and I Don't Wanna Lose My Way are average/poor edm songs to end CD2 on here.
@@sddk2k8themusicalfanatic66 CD 1 on this one does definitely have a few bangers still though such as 'Hero', 'Murder on the Dancefloor', 'Point of View', 'ResuRection' and 'A Mind of It's Own' I really like as well, I just think it's ruined by a few mediocre songs near the start of the CD like 'Somethin' Stupid' and 'The World's Greatest'. I think it's also fair to say that the Dance tracks on CD 1 of this one are definitely better than the ones on CD 2.

Looking good, technically I think they should have revealed the track listing yesterday (3rd) as it is 17 days prior to release date like they always used to when they released Now albums on a Monday but because of the chart update moving to a Friday it means the Now albums are now being released on a Friday so it's kinda messed it up a bit, this Friday coming though it has to be released surely? This is the case with 1987, 2000-2002 being good with 1985 and 1989-1991 slightly above average with the average 1994 and 1998 not too far behind. 2017-2019 have the worst musicwise and Now albumwise, as none of the Nows of those 3 consecutive years were outstanding at all with 2020 being the revival of Now albums and music 😀
Crazy Rap and OI! are both way better than Bad Babysitter.
@@robertatkinson1347 I totally agree 👍

What do you think? The Now! team announced on Facebook they were revealing the tracklist this week, so I hope you've got a batch of predictions ready as well!
Thanks!
Some more news to bring you is that I have started working on the Now 50 Tracklist, should be up before Now 92 is released! :D
Robert Atkinson Great to hear, Rob! Can't wait to see it!
Yup then that will be all the 50 something Now albums uploaded :)
Robert Atkinson Yup! Then on to Now! 49 after Now! 92 comes out!
Sure is :)
A1 - Caught In The Middle should have been on here
It was on HITS 52.
@@robertatkinson1347 overall, this was the weakest Now of 2002.
@@sddk2k8themusicalfanatic66 yeah it's between this one and 52 but maybe this one just edges it, NOW 53 is definitely the best NOW of 2002 though.
French Kissing
Aaliyah Happen To Plane Crash And He Died
She died in a plane crash yes, very sad :(
Not a good time for pop music.
