I need help finding a song. It goes something like” I’ve been here waiting just for you ..... I believe that the time is right tonight tonight, you’ve got to turn it up that right” that all I know but it’s been bugging me for years
What is the opening song to this video called?

It's crazy that 90's European Dance is it's own genre
Back in the 90s most americans laughed at us europeans and our music. Today they appreciate this music because pop music is dead since 2012 or so

EUROBEAT EUROTECNO EURODANCE EURODISCO 90S
So thankful I grew up during this era, absolutely NOTHING like '90s Eurodance/Eurotrance. So unique.
I wish I was a teenager in the 90s!! Times were simpler back than! No smart phones, no social media, no fear of missing out
@@ClaireEmilia You can still enjoy these 90´s bangers Claire.
Although your generation might be looking into the 90´s and early 2000´s to understand the nostalgia, however this nostalgia and feel cannot be replicated by recovering them unless you've lived that era.
Yessss,am agree
One of the most interesting things was that we had new hit every week and that every summer had at least one HUGE MEGAHIT that literally entire world sings.
Summers were literally magic.
I remember me playing eurodance songs on RADIO vey lod and my mother telling me: turn it down, tuuuuurn it dooooown
Summers were different, vibe was different, people vere genuinely happy, I was genuinely happy teenager. These eurodance songs are reflection of how happy were back then.
I will put it in one simple sentence and you will understand:
I do not see that spark of happiness and energy in eyes of nowadays teens that we who were teens during 90s had in our eyes.
I hope in the near future that Eurodance makes a return in a new generation of hits that are memorable for new generations.
Eurodance is love, Eurodance is what makes Europe shine with all of the musical talents within Europe.
Я думаю что это ужэ было❤
Jungle resurfaced in popularity, I believe in the late 2020s, Eurodance will as well
@@Scorpio19110 Yeah, they call it break core now.
@@Siranoxz currently it’s debated whether it’s jungle or DnB, now that the amen break is used. Imagine the confusion when big beat will be popular again.

No doubt, Eurodance ruled Europe in 90s. It was the most popular genre in whole Europe in 90s.
Grunge? Britpop? Trip Hop? Drum n Bass?
@@TheAmarok87 YEah, there wasn't a "most popular genere" at the time in Europe.
@@TheAmarok87drum and bass was popular back then? that’s so fucking mint

2 Unlimited - "No Limit": A Belgian-Dutch duo that ruled the dance floors with this hit.

Culture Beat - "Mr. Vain": Another German act that left a mark on the 90s dance music scene.

The best songs of the 90s were made in Europe .
They're still made there till this day especially with their great DJs
No, in Africa. Make some searchings out of your culture
The best, eurodance.
@@aphrodite7753 ...for example? Tell me some songs or bands, that are known for their genre.

I think a lot of "dance" producers these days don't understand that THIS is how you make dance music. THESE are genuinely good songs.

it's called getting with the century and times, anyone can re create these easy 6 synth stem bops. Nobody wants to it was lit for its time now its.... Not just.
Soo true these are the greatest club sounds and sound just as good today ... a great era
We didn't have internet, smartphones, tablets but we were much happier than nowadays kids. We used to record the last hits from the radio on cassettes. My hands were trembling when I had a new CD album with my favorite band. Those emotions are all gone. Internet killed the very essence of music.
It killed the essence of your music experience, but lets be honest, thanks to the internet this hits can be listened forever (and believe me that nowadays raves and parties still put many of this and can select from sooo many years of hits!). Nowadays it is easier to get access to good music, to learn to compose music and find your style and so on... Internet is not the problem on itself... imo is the social media and all the legal addictive algorithms to get people addicted to those apps and makes us dumb. Luckly I think nowadays it is commonly known that social media is objectively shit... I hope one day it gets out of trend and we all people wake up and realise that REAL LIFE IS OUT THERE, not in an Instagram post.
The 90's feel so different. Not just a nostalgic thing, but like we crossed a threshold into another world that we can never come back from. Everything feels so different.
We had it so good but just took it for granted x
Im 34, born in 1985, and if music like this ever makes a comeback you bet your ass i will go clubbing again

I think the 2010s had great music up until 2016. The past three years have been disgusting. Music has died. I feel lucky to have experienced all of the 90s.
Great music! Greetings from an 80s kid!
@Ganda Gandara Not really but they are masterpieces compared to the poop being played on the radio recently. At least those songs were tolerable. I don't listen to the radio at all now my ears will bleed.
@Ganda Gandara Same generation! 👍
Sure Eurodance might be laughed at sometimes, but this video made me realize how many bangers and iconic song the genre has created.
Born in 82, this is part of my childhood and teen days. This was the perfect prelude for my clubbing days in the 00s, as a proud elder millennial 😁

Robert Miles opened the gates to innocence, blissfulness and heaven with his music. May he have found this where he is now. ☯️
Looking back, 90s to early 00s music and their videos were like a fever dream to me.
Europe knows how to party.
It definetely does!
This is because Germany invented electronic music (e.g. techno) in Europe. In the 90s, 99% of techno came from Germany. Example: ruclips.net/video/hWUiLJnEYJI/видео.html

Who remembers sitting in their bedroom for hours on end doing a mixtape of all their best tracks from different CD's that you borrowed from friends. Happy old days 👌
I was a teen in the early 90's and I loved this music but my parents thought it was crap. Now I have teens of my own and I think their music is crap. A never ending circle
Both are crap, that's the thrust. Simply these songs remind us our young time, our teen age. It's only nostalgy, exactly the same way your parents likes tv show from the '60, or their 1st car, even if everybody could tell them it was really a shit on 4 wheels, because we would compare with modern cars...
So, what is objectively good ? I guess what every generation can listen and truly like, is "good" : Classical music, soul music (let your teens listen Aretha Franklin, just to see...) and, you know, everything which still survived untill us. Because there is no band in this "dance compilation" who's still active today. All of them are fallen in far memories.
@@jplanqua2742 Love him or hate him he's spitting straight facts.
I guess you can call me a pre teen and honestly new music isnt that good, especially rap and hip hop, older rap and hip hop was ok and i listen to it a little but overall not too good,i think il just stick to rock, country&western and some of this stuff
And honestly now rhat you mention hoe its a circle notice how every generation shits on the next generation like as in right now where older dudes are saying kids have technology and have easy lives, and at the same time they mention how thier dad shat on thier generation for the same thing, like honestly isnt making life easier the point?
I guess every age and genre has its good and bad songs.. Not all of these songs are "crap" or bad quality..Some are genius and iconic like Prodigy or Faithless. Of course our memories are strongly connected, but if you are a music lover you can recognise the differences and appreciate the new as much as the old.
This is like reliving my childhood in one video, I love it
Erin Howe Yes I feel the same listening to this.

I have very beautiful memories
The world was in peace ..

Unfortunately, we are old and have become 46 years old.
I hope to find a woman who shares my memories
Being from my generation means born in the seventies.... Whatsapp: +213658143789
The 90's set the standard for awesome smash trance, dance, hip hop, techno hits.
For me Eurodance 90s the best music in the history.

Europe knew how to party in the 90s.
