So I accidentally found a faster way to get Magikoopas magic in to your item box, and it only requires power state 21 (I think) You have to collect a fire flower and then release it. Then collect the 1up after and you have it. I have a video about it if you’d like to witness it with your own eyes.
@The Unintended Gamer: must be a beta fonction of the starpower-up item, where they most have been a another beta item that prevent mario from becoming starpower-up, so it only disappear, if mario would be a valid form to receive it, or getting overwritten by another sprite. The other posibility it does that because the normal behavor of yoshi tongue cancel some sprite of the object, and since it his a glitch item canceling some sprite from the glitch item cause it to behave that way.
I like messing around with the powerup incrementation and item swap glitches and found a way to get a yoshi in the item box. idk what PS I was but it's one where Mario is mostly cyan and is bouncy on the world map and if he eats a 1 up a yoshi goes in the ite, box. idk if this you already made a video on this but I just wanted to tell you this if you want to make a video on it edit; I found your video on this glitch and PS 38 sounded to be about the PS I was on
Hi Firemip50! It sound like you were at PS 38. At this PS, you get a Yoshi is you collect a 1Up-Mushroom. Also, if you collect a regular Mushroom or a Fire Flower, PS 38 allows you to get a 1Up-Mushroom in the Item. After, with this 1Up-Mushroom, you can get a Yoshi. So at PS 38, a Mushroom, a Fire Flower or a 1Up-Mushroom works! My video on Yoshi shows that. I'm glad I'm not alone in loving to powerup increment! How do I spawn a p-switch?
The Star Remnant is the star in the carriable state (shell). That's why there's white graphics.
