7:45 the lovely Henrhyd falls in the Swansea Valley I believe. they're the highest falls in the Brecon Beacons, and famous for appearing in Batman - the Dark Knight Rises 🙂
Having had heart failure I struggle straight up to 1600 feet (Raven Crag), but living in Lancashire would not be without my Barbour wax jacket for absolute waterproofing and me Scarpa boots (sole to suit terrain), Good hat, Whistle, compass, torch and phone... Essentials.. Great vid
The correct pronunciation of berghaus is berg - house. The brand was started kin 1966 by Peter Lockey and Gordon Davidson in Newcastle upon Tyne and owned the LD Mountain Centre.
Great points! A rainjacket and raincover for the camera are some of the absolute best items to always have ready! Bonus points too that they're exceptionally lightweight.
Great video Ian, would be great to get your thoughts on some of the new gear in a few months (I know it's hard to remember sometimes!). Decathlon gear in my experience is excellent at the lower prices they offer, they are tough to beat if you are on a budget and available in quite a few countries which has been useful for me.
That first waterfall shot was a beauty mate, love it. I am still using the Original DJI OSMO ACTION to film my videos and I think it works a treat, I have mine set up to record in D-Cinelike and have made a couple different profiles in Final cut pro to speed up editing ( the only reason I shoot in D-Cinelike is the camera can struggle with sunrise/ sunset and gets the wrong colour temp, I look like I've been under a sunbed for a week 🤣, will be nice to see how you get on with the new DJI, cheers chap
Great shots again Ian 👍🏻 Some of the best equipment I’ve purchased recently has been waterproof gear, including a lens coat for my 200-600mm lens. Normally I would be governed by what the weather was doing as I don’t have many opportunities to get out, but the freedom it gives is fantastic. Happily choose to go out in the rain now, and another upside is less people 😂
Sadly footwear is unique for the single person 😬 but hiking gore tex is my choice for everything. Summer or winter, traveling in the south or staying in my home country. Find what's best for your feet and back. Talk to a specialist and buy out from the results 😊

It sure is an awesome spot, Thanks for the info too 👍👍
I'm really enjoying your videos. I've been binge watching for the last few days. 👍
A very useful explanation of the clothing and why you've chosen it. I thought the waterfall photo was really quite nice.
Thank you! it's grown on me too, i think i was just feeling a little negative at the time having been out in the rain for so long. haha

Nice set of gear my friend 👍
I actually like the fallen trees crossing in front of the waterfall. They help frame the composition, IMO. Good info as well.
Thanks Len, yeah it's grown on me actually 👍👍

Great video, nice to see what outdoor gear others use, great compositions also!
Glad you enjoyed it! 👍
Thanks, very informative.
Thanks buddy
Great vid. On the gear side I would love to know more about the filters and the bag if possible please ?
Sure thing! You can view all of my gear here 👉 www.iworthphotos.com/my-gear
Great video. With my experience all boots /shoes leak. And leather is super heavy. I just go with running shoes because they dry fast 😅

yes, less people is definitely one of the main attractions haha

Great tips and recommendations. Can anyone tell me the location for the waterfall. Probably Wales, but not sure where.
Possibly “Waterfall country” near Yastradfellte in the Brecon Beacons
It's Henrhyd falls on the western side of the Brecons
