Man, working with photo etch is hard enough as it is. But working with deliberately damaged photo etch? That's insane. Your skills are truly exceptional, very well done!
I'm 99% sure that the next video will be a diorama about the battle of North Cape
Definitiv....
It took 3 months but you were correct
Painting a camouflage and highlights with brush ! Man you are the most crazy and talented modeller I’ve ever see ! Congrats mate !!
Автор, спасибо Вам огромное! Вы реализовали мою мечту! Низкий поклон.
The damage was very well detailed. Loved the added deck pieces as well.
My friend you have mad skills. I enjoy your work. Keep up the great work you do.
Scharnhorst was a real beauty. Love to play it and the sisters Tirpitz and Bismarck in WoWs. Amazing work.
ドイツからたくさんのご挨拶
Another amazing job as always. Thank you so much for sharing. Watching your videos has given me the boost to try a ship model myself. I just hope I can make it look half as good as yours.
glad you kept all the details on the deck accurate, nothing is more off putting then some random symbol or a blank white space where the ' thing' should be. You are a crazy man with those resin flack guns. Amazing work, my young son is keen to start modeling based on your channel.
Years ago I bought a decal sheet of those emblems in various scales used some for planes and a Bismarck build that didn't come with them.
I can think of few better modellers for your son to follow
@@colinritchie1757 he enjoys Night Shift and Plasmo as well..
Absolutely beautiful.
Regarding your comment about trying not to have paint get under the masks - the Boulder Creek Railroad RUclips channel has a technique where after applying the masks, he first applies a coat of a transparent matte varnish. It seals the masks and ensures subsequent paint layers can't get under.
A supremely skilled modeller such as yourself appears to have mastered this anyway, but perhaps this is something that could help (if you're not using that technique already)?
Thanks, sealing with matt varnish is an excellent idea. It's always nice to learn something new.
I am working on this model at the current moment. I had to take a while off because the photo etch was really getting to me. Was hoping to get the ship done for the anniversary but it was not possible because of the photo etch burnout. Lovely build!
I have no words, just great work.
Superb work as ever and nice to see a paint brush used fro more than just detail panting - excellent
beautiful work on the deck finishing
Beautiful artwork friend. And painting it with a brush... wow.
Amazing! Incredible work
Great work as usual. 👍
Excellent - makes me want this kit even more!
Exquisite work as always Sir, fantastic result.
Thanks for sharing
I wish I had a skill like this! Unbelievable!
Masterpiece. Belongs in a museum 👍👍
언제나처럼 놀라운 작품입니다 :) 붓으로 정교한 위장에 갑판 레이어, 까진 자국들까지 표현하시다니 혀만 내두르다가 가네요 ㅎㅎ
댓글 감사합니다 ^^
Simply amazing!
This building will be well detailed even in 1/200.. incedible..
waaaw, j'adore, vraiment magnifique,, toujours un plaisir de regarder tes vidéos ;)
Really cool.
Великолепная работа! Спасибо!
brilliant!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! =)
Excellent build and painting! Congrats! I have the very same kit in my stash... just wainting for some day. After this video, this day may be closer. I'm not sure what are you planning to do with the LED lights. I always wanted to make one ship firing, but didn't figure out a how to make a realistic blast for the canons, or if it is possible to drill a hole along the brass canons to conceal the witing... Anyway, looking forward for your next video.
지리는구만~
I too have a scar on my thumb in the same spot. :)
Astonishing work as always! Do you publish the 3d models that you made anywhere?
Beauty
For a long time I have been in awe of your sculpting skills, for a while now I am also in awe of your digital "sculpting" skills - are your printable files available somewhere? (I am building Bismarck in 1/700 and hate folding those AA guns ;)) Love your videos and work!
Let me poke you again regarding my question! Not anywhere have I found those AA guns in the amazing quality, you built. ;)
Awesome work as always!
I wonder if you thin the paint while using the brush, if so which ratio do you prefer? Also do you finsh the model with a flat coat of clear varnish or leave it as it is?
Impressive work as always! Double respect for hand painting!
How do you manage to paint without a brush strokes on a large surfaces? How liquid is your paint?
Very nice build, again. May I ask what you use for attaching the metal/PE-details?
- how many guns on your ship?
- yes
the german capital ships all had such beautiful lines and proportions, a shame they were all sunk
Wow! Amazing! How long does a model this detailed take you?
Hi Have you ever done or tried something big like 3/8=1 ? The video is great!
👍👍👍
In Germany the symbol "Hakenkreuz" is forbidden. Very nice build video 🤩
Deshalb liegt das "Glückssymbol" gelegentlich als Puzzledecal bei......
Huh, are companies not allowed to print decals with certain iconography? Never really thought about that before.
All that tiny rigging was crazy, though.
It depends. If you want to sell your kits in Germany, you need to implement workarounds like this one or assure that all illegal symbols have been removed from the kit before it can be sold. Tamiya, for example, uses the latter approach and even censors any swastikas found in the instructions with a dot of permanent marker.
The reason for this is that in Germany, displaying the swastika (and other symbols closely related to the nazis, such as the double sig rune) is illegal unless it happens in an educational, artistic or historical context. Which is why it is, for example, legal to have them shown in movies and, since they were classified as art, computer games.
Now, one might argue that model building clearly is art, given the work that goes into assembling and painting a model, but legally, model kits are classed as toys in Germany. Which, in turn, means that they are not exempt. In fact, it is apparently not uncommon for plainclothes police officers to take a few strolls through model conventions in Germany, checking for infractions in the displayed models.
And yes, I fully agree: That rigging is *incredible*.
@@sebastiannicolaikaupe5175 Yeah, I knew Germany had laws against stuff like that, it just never occurred to me that it would be a problem for model kits.
What 3d modelling software do you use?
I used Z brush,
Amazing! But will we see Tirpitz again?
All Hail "The Thing" on the deck!"
Awesome!!!!! Bravo!
