Thank you so much Hamza. If you wanna see some REALLY good acoustic players, check out Martin Tallstrom and Emil Ernebro on youtube. Your mind will be blown! :)
I did, but i am more into bullet speed classical songs being played on an accoustic guitar. I am an accoustic guitar player myself and i understand how hard it is to do that .Your job here is something else that even overrated guitarist of our time cannot do what you did here . Bravo !!
Just came because I seen your message on the actual video. I can't believe you are sweeping on an acoustic, let alone the steel strings. Must have your action set in a certain way. It is easily to see you've practiced this for a long time. Good work brother!
This is a great performance on this very hard master piece , I am working on it for a long time , do you have the tabs ? Your fingering seams very economic
+John Huldt Seriously. I can barely do an imitation of the piece on an electric and you pull this on an acoustic using fingerpicked harmonics and whatnot. Though I have a pretty stupid pinky that I can't for the life of me curl without having the ring finger tag along, so that makes plenty of things even more difficult then they should be. Everyone I've seen who plays this good never seems to have this problem, so I assume it's the same with you.
John Huldt I've been playing for more than 7 years now, I doubt it's something you can practice out of. I read that some (maybe even most, I don't know) people share a tendon between their ring finger and their pinky; I don't know exactly how it works (or doesn't work), but I can curl my RF independently just fine yet when curling the pinky, the RF almost mirrors its movement: if I curl my pinky onto its lowest crease, the RF curls about half-way; if I curl my pinky into the palm itself, the RF curls along perhaps 85% of the way. My father doesn't have this issue but my mother does, and I, one brother and my sister seem to have it, while another brother can curl it independently just fine (I'm the only one who plays an instrument). It's quite an issue because it makes my pinky feel rigid and stiff, and I started getting pains when playing all sorts of phrases.
Yeah I had the same thing. I couldn't move the pinky and ring finger independently. I also can't raise the pinky on my left hand if I keep the rest of the fingers closed.
Subscribed and shared. I been working for 4 month on anotehr version to end figuring i dont have 25 frets on my guitar (!!!) May i get this tab please ! Good job awesome, magic rendering.
2:58 are you getting that sound by using your wrist to mute the strings? 3:17 wow you do those pinched harmonics so well! I don't use a pick so idk how much easier that makes it, I love that your harmonics go off the frets
The pinches look way more complicated, but it's not a ph. It's a harp monic you just match whatever fret oct above and lightly pick with your thumbnail and touch the fret wire. Look up ted green tutorials. He's the master of it, and it is easy with a bit of understanding easier than a pinch in like metal
i 've been playing this on violin alot ... and i heard a lot playing it on cello and different instruments but i never thought it could be played on guitar and that's was wooow *_*
Thank you. It's been haunting me for many years so I figured I had to do a video to get it out of my system. Far from perfect but at least now I don't have to think about it anymore haha :)
Oh sorry. Your name doesn't reveal your gender to a westerner and given that 99.99% of everybody who digs my playing are dudes I sort of took it for granted haha. Nice to "meet" you and thanks for watching.
Awesome work! Since you seem to respond to viewer comments, I was curious how you recorded this, as in what kind of software and camera? I'm guessing it wasn't Garageband...
I like this a lot! I play the classical guitar arrangement, but all the arrangements available are missing Paganini’s showy style, instead had to be played with great musicality. Keep up the good work!
That was the Michael Fath (Faith) transcription from Guitar for Practicing Musicians 1990's, I believe, I still have that transcription on hand, very complicated!
Tied 3 ways 1st place best presentation of the 24th with Marcin Petrzalek, little 8 year old girl from China (name unknown). and now you. Savage work, Paganini couldn't be prouder. CONGRATS!!!🎉
+Martin Mortensen Not really. More for different styles of playing. Like for strumming I will use a somewhat softer pick but for most other things I use the good ole Jazz 3.
+chases955 Yes sir. Share this on your social media and tag me and I'll send the tab (alt paypal me $4.99. Or both!). Thanks for watching and the kind words :)
Hey. Thanks a lot. I actually have two out on CDBaby. One called Rules Do Not Apply (2008) and one called A Permanent State of Transformation (2012). I really should put out more music but my motivation for putting out instrumental music no one cares about hasn't been very high haha. Check them out though. I've put both of them in their entirety on RUclips.
I've been messing with this off and on for like 15 years until one day I decided I was just gonna record the damn thing. Then I worked on it a little bit every day for about a month or so.
Amazing work man!! Damn.....you need way more views. That's why I decided to share it with the facebook world! lol. Would you be so kind to send me your tab? Maybe when I'm old and grey I could do it 1/4 justice. lol.
I use these cheap strings I get from freeguitarstringsforlife or whatever the website is called. Like $2.99 per set but for some reason they sound great on my acoustic. As I have switched to Elixir on all my electrics I'm gonna try them out next time I restring the acoustic as well.
Amazing job, world-class. Did you base your arrangement on the version for electric guitar by Michael Fath? His tab was published in a guitar magazine in the early 90s and put this song on the map for a lot more guitar players. Here's the man himself: ruclips.net/video/ecrdLDy_Nqw/видео.html I think yours is a whole lot more listenable ... and all the more impressive played on an acoustic.
probably the best interpretation for the guitar that I have seen yet.
+Karl Garcia Thank you Karl!
i agree and god knows i've seen a lot jsjs
Search for Marcin
@@andrealuisi9097That guy is just awful
You should see actual classical guitarists play it
Impressionnant !
i ve been trying to play this diabolic masterpiece for years and you make it sound f***ing smoothie!
incroyable! mille bravos!
To be able to play this as cleanly as you did on an acoustic, no less, is absolutely amazing.
Thanks man. As far as it is from a perfect take, it was a real bitch to make haha.
Insane that you can do that so consistantly clean on an acoustic. Awesome job.
+ljr5150 Thank you very much!
I've seen and heard about a thousand versions on guitar for this.. but this one is AWESOME!
Thank you!
You are one of the best accoustic guitar players in the world. Bare that in mind !!
Thank you so much Hamza. If you wanna see some REALLY good acoustic players, check out Martin Tallstrom and Emil Ernebro on youtube. Your mind will be blown! :)

I appreciate your kind words very much. Let me know if you want the tab for the caprice.
Just came because I seen your message on the actual video. I can't believe you are sweeping on an acoustic, let alone the steel strings. Must have your action set in a certain way. It is easily to see you've practiced this for a long time. Good work brother!
Thanks buddy! It sure kicked me in the ass for a good many years. It still does but now I feel like i don't have to play it anymore haha :)
incredible...So clean & accurate, never thought I'd see anyone get close to Rick Graham to be honest but this is just amazing...Great playing dude
Hi Darren. Rick Graham is untouchable. I really love his playing. Thank you so much for the kind words and glad you like the video :)
I suddenly feel the urge to practice.
+Andrea Mercurio Aaaah that feeling that never goes away haha.
Lingling practice 40 hours a day why you no practice lah
Mr.Huldt, one of the best accoustic guitar players in the world. It`s tone feel like original violin.
Haha far from it! But thanks for your kind words :)
This is my favourite guitar cover on YT!

I had the exact same problem when I started playing. You just have to refuse letting it hinder your playing and eventually it will go away :)

Really sick man wish I could play like that!
+AndyShredz Practice practice practice :)
Awesome work! Since you seem to respond to viewer comments, I was curious how you recorded this, as in what kind of software and camera? I'm guessing it wasn't Garageband...
Hey man. I used a MiLab 96C and a Shure BG 4.1 into Logic. That's about it.
I like this a lot! I play the classical guitar arrangement, but all the arrangements available are missing Paganini’s showy style, instead had to be played with great musicality. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much :)
Thats amazing! I would buy the tab, but what for?! :D I will never be able to play like that; but I love to listen to it.
If it makes you feel any better I was poking around with this piece for almost 15 years before I recorded it haha.
Actually yeah, it helps a little ;-)

How the hell do you play this on an acoustic??? Great playing as always buddy:)
An awful lot of practice haha. Thank you :)
Haha I bet! I challenge you to play the 5th Caprice next!
I think Jason Becker already owns that one.
True! He also played a Bach prelude which was pretty crazy. I think it was on the Hot Licks DVD
Absolutely ridiculous playing.
The cleanliness of the chords around the 2 minutes mark is just amazing! It sounds like a harpsichord almost!
Great job
string model pls
I use these cheap strings I get from freeguitarstringsforlife or whatever the website is called. Like $2.99 per set but for some reason they sound great on my acoustic. As I have switched to Elixir on all my electrics I'm gonna try them out next time I restring the acoustic as well.
💪👍💪👍💪👍💪👍
RELAX AND DONT TRY TO BE COOL
Cool! want you too cover this use a electric guitar?
Come again?
+John Huldt I think he's asking if you're gonna play it on an electric guitar
I think you're right.
"What are your intentions with my daughter?"
So kids, in this video you can see a typical Rick and Morty fan doing things that they do.
Just a bunch of nerds doing nerdy things..
I'v played this caprice for 1years but... its too hard T.T
It is really hard!
why rush
You are practicing 40 hours a day
0:12 - "I know, I know, you can never play like this ....."
What I wouldnt give to sweep pick like that
When Karl Rock starts playing guitar
Rick Graham vs John HuldtGuitar world cup final
Lol that would be a pretty easy victory for Rick. No one can touch that guy.
Amazing job, world-class. Did you base your arrangement on the version for electric guitar by Michael Fath? His tab was published in a guitar magazine in the early 90s and put this song on the map for a lot more guitar players. Here's the man himself: ruclips.net/video/ecrdLDy_Nqw/видео.html
I think yours is a whole lot more listenable ... and all the more impressive played on an acoustic.
He actually practiced 40 hours a day 😂😂
Your camera make your guitar neck look really bent.
It's that wide angle lens, man.
I didn’t know Logan Paul played the guitar😳
Wtf they look nothing similiar don't compare just for the sake of it
You have successfully made me want to quit playing. my god...
Oh man, don't say that.
ITS GUITAR PEWDIEPIE
A little sloppy, bruh. Don’t blame you it’s a piece most will obsess over for years to master it.
It's definitely sloppy.
Pewdiepie?
It is I, Felix.
I thought he is pewdiepie
