When I lived in SD over 30yrs,I don't remember Little Italy being popular. I also mainly lived uptown in North Park and Mission Hills. I did once look at apartments near the airport and it was strange hearing the planes flying so close.

I do enjoy your content but for my honest opinion about San Diego but unfortunately it’s not my type of city since the beach isn’t my thing plus it’s too expensive. I have plans to move back home but definitely will visit SD. I’ve tried Chicago deep dish pizza places in San Diego and it wasn’t very good at all. Downtown San Diego is nothing compared to Downtown Chicago also the San Diego trolley sucks, not as fun riding The L in Chicago. I love Polish food but San Diego doesn’t have any also a lack of Eastern European food in SD. Pomegranate Russian/Georgian in North Park has some delicious Eastern European food, you should do a video of you trying Pomegranate in North Park SD.
I lived in San Diego for over 40 years moved to Riverside County in 2013. I agree with your take. San Diego has some great restaurants that I can say but the quality of life has deteriorated. I lived in El Cajon for about 22 years.

I took a date to Waterfront because it was just around the bend from my condo.
Regarding the homeless this seems to be a huge problem in parts of US (Vegas and LA especially) is there no special home for these people provided by local government?
