Only singer comparable is Whitney Houston...Sinatra?..not in the same class IMO. Luis Miguel’s singing moves even guys to tears...one of THE best singers of all time, anywhere..wonderful analysis
I've seen Luis in concert and besides being a great singer, he is a jazz musician in his brain. Back in the early nineties I invited about twenty people to my house to listen and watch Luis's DVD "El Concierto." I fixed the den with theater seating and each gust was told they could not talk during the concert. None of them could understand Spanish, but they all loved it.
This performance was the final part of a 15 min ballad medley and this was the perfect closure. He always improvise “la incondicional” but never repeats the same vocals.
Luis Miguel is an Iconic Idol. Referred & known as aka "El Sol De Mexico". Definitely, one of the best singers in Mexico & Latin America. I Love Luis Miguel. Thank you vocal coach for your acknowledgment in him. Proud being native-born American of Mexican descent myself.🥰 Attended 2 of his concerts in California.
I’ve been listening to Luis Miguel since 1986. My absolute all-time favorite singer. I have traveled to Houston TX & Atlanta, GA to see him perform live. Love this guy!

I never get tired of seeing videos of people reacting to this version. He is my mom's age. I remember finding my mom's Luis Miguel CDs as a kid and listening to them. It took me until I was older to truly appreciate him. This version is incredible. Goosebumps every time
Jajaja
This actually the best live version of "La Incondicional". It's like he choses different songs through the years where he can deliver something amazing with his voice. And yes, He knows how far he can push it. It's very rare to find a live performance where his voice fails to deliver and when he reaches that point where he knows he may screw up, he knows exactly how to re-direct his voice nicely and smooth and people don't even notice it. When he sings with Mariachi he is also amazing. In México, if you're going to sing with a mariachi it doesn't matter if you have a good voice, you have to be able to perform the way people expect it. They can either hate you or love you. Luis Miguel has the power in his voice plus he transmits the feeling that people want from Mariachi music. "La Bikina" is one of my favorites. Thank you John Henry for this video. It made me smile the whole time.
I loved your reaction!!! This guy Luis Miguel is just the best male voice in the world and let me tell you this performance doesnt even compare to other performances he is got throughout his 38 years of career. And no!!! He doesnt do the same patterns in every show, in every show he does it differently!!!!!
Just answering your question... Nop each time he sings he sings it different thats why every concert is special, I had the opportunity to see him live a few times now and his vocal qualities are spectacular (even now that he is older cause he is being arround singing proffessionally since he was 12 and now he is 50 or so) and the team of musicians and chorus and lights wow! the full assemble is Worth every cent i payed.

eduar ed don’t you ever dare undermine Juan Gabriel’s talent. Listen, Luis Miguel was a far more talented singer. However, Juan Gabriel was a mf composer. He wrote for the choir, the orchestra, the mariachi and his songs weren’t just his but hundreds upon hundreds of artists became famous off of his songs. He never ever ever sang a single song that he didn’t write. He was born a legend and died a legend and Luis Miguel wishes he had that amount of respect in Latin America. I love Luis Miguel deeply but understand, they’re both Legends. So yes, Juanga deserves a reaction.
eduar ed lmfao, nobody is comparing their voices except you, and Luis Miguel mighta written songs but not nearly the amount of Juanga’s. And I’m stupid? Lmfaoooo😂, you don’t know that there IS a difference between the titles composer and a song writer. Calling him a song writer is demeaning as composer covers a broader amount of music creation and areas. And the way you put it belittled Juan Gabriel and we won’t have that as Juan Gabriel was more important in the Latin American music industry.
Hello! i just discovered your channel with this video, luis miguel was called the latin frank sinatra and even the great frank said he was an amazing singer, ( he still sings and believe it or not his range has gotten even higher which is crazy) but that reaction and analyzation was truly a very good one, i always wanted someone to confirm all the things and variations he did on that performance, every time sings that song he has that whole improvisation part and he never sings the same. a lot of other reactors and voice teachers react to the performance of La Bikina en vivo after reacting to this video.

@Mané Incondicional - I will grant you that Luis Miguel is phenomenal, and I have seen him in concert in PHX, AZ a couple years back. His live performance was amazing. But, but, "THE BEST LATIN AMERICAN SINGER EVER!!!"???? For one, he is not American. He is from Spain. His mom was Italian, and his father was Spaniard. He was born in Mexico while his father was performing there. But as good as he is, there have been several other amazing Latin artists to grace the vinyl. Such as Vincente Fernandez, Javier Solis and Pedro Infante. All of which were also phenomenal singers. So for me, I will say that Luis Miguel is "One Of The Best" Latin vocalist of all time.
Un Garza wrong, he is American because he was born in the Americas. Luis Miguel was born in Puerto Rico but moved to Mexico at a young age. And I’d put Jose Jose on that list too, the Latin Frank Sinatra.
Thank you for this wonderful analysis! I've been listening to Luis Miguel since he was a kid(my parents are Mexican) When he switched gears and wisely stuck with his unbelievably gorgeous versions of classic boleros, I was astounded by just how amazingly versatile and vocally gifted he is. What you cite here is exactly that quality he displays. I noticed this in full force on his more recent CD: MEXICO Por Siempre! It's fantastic and my Dad, who is very familiar with the songs Miguel has redone, just loves these updated versions and marvels at his vocal talents. My Mom loved his versions became a huge fan of his when went to boleros. I know nothing about the science and art behind vocalization so thanks for this great bit of illumination you provided!
The most amazing thing is that he never sings a song exactly the same, he phrases the notes differently every time, but every time the performance is breath taking.

Yours is my favorite reaction to Luis Miguel because you understood what made him such an amazing vocalist. Someone commented here (Manny D’Alessandro) and left a link to what he considered one of Luis’s hardest songs to sing. I listened to it and my jaw dropped. If you don’t feel like watching all of it at least listen to the last part. Link below. Forgot to add that he had a bad flu and the doctor told him not to sing. This is not just a rumor, it was confirmed. And it’s not just hitting notes to impress (my problem with Dimash). John, another great reaction and excellent analysis! I do not understand Spanish but I love beautiful voices. With truly talented singers you do not need to understand what they are saying to feel what they are singing. Luis Miguel is one of those. And you can tell that he is having a great time while doing some very different notes. In his lane and so comfortable. Thank you, I will be waiting for your next reaction. :)

We just went to a concert and his voice is sooooo great better than ever!! He played with his vocals for like 10 Minutes and the piano with him it was delightful ! He is the best singer ever!!
On this particular song he enjoys improvising the climax and to this day he still hits those incredible c5s 😍 His voice gets better with age! Please react to more videos of Luis Miguel.
He is the number ONE in a Spanish speaking music.
Juan Gabriel is,sorry
*Luis Miguel Is A Very PASSIONATE & GIFTED Singer. The Very Best Concerts Are His.*
He changes patterns all the time. I saw him in Mexico City and he sang this differently. He is amazing. Great vocals and great showman.
My husband surprised me with a ticket to see him in concert in vegas- 3rd row. It was being in heaven. His voice is amazing live. The respect he has for his audience. Just amazing!!!
Luis Miguel is a genius at the level of Frank Sinatra in fact he sang on his birthday and recorded a song with him. congratulations for your channel
Luis Miguel is one of those singers that are born one every 100 years
Only singer comparable is Whitney Houston...Sinatra?..not in the same class IMO.
THIS GUY IS ONE OF THE BEST SINGER HAS EVER EXIST IN ALL THE WORLD NO BODY LIKE HIM
I’ve been listening to Luis Miguel since 1986. My absolute all-time favorite singer. I have traveled to Houston TX & Atlanta, GA to see him perform live. Love this guy!
I loved your reaction. Luis Miguel is an ambassador of the Spanish language around the world. 3 World music awards, 10 Grammys a star on the walk of fame, millions of albums, the GUys is like the Beatles to us
I never get tired of seeing videos of people reacting to this version.
He’s a legend Hispanic/Spanish language music. That song is a classic. ❤️
I’ve seen him live. Just awesome!

Best analysis I've heard. As a musician..I learned a bunch. Thanks John.
Great reaction! Please react to Luis Miguel's "Me niego a estar solo" live in Argentina 1996. Great vocal performance.
Not a lot of Asians, Indonesians particularly knows Micky.. I have all his albums .. had been collecting since 95. I still listen to his Une Humbre Busca Una Mujer album also 20Anos, Segundo, Romance and of course the El Concierto album when I'm drivin..btw in this album you should do also Pensar En Ti analysis as well.. gorgeous song and vocal..
High five!
Man, really love this reaction, honest and technical. Would love to see you reacting to another video of Luis Miguel. I'd recommend "tengo todo excepto a tí", live from the "Sevilla 1992". Thanks for the video.
This performance by Luis Miguel was insane. Reminds me of when I was a kid ❤️ we always had His songs on our cassette player 😂 this brought a little happy tear because of the great memories Luis Miguel brings to me! Viva Luismi ☀️
I saw this guy two nights in a row at Radio City Music Hall. Both shows were exactly the same. Not one moment changed. Incredible
Luis Miguel! omg...Grande! what a voice!! el Sol de Mexico, I'm 45,this year 46 and I admire Luis Miguel since 1982 ,I was 8,he is gonna be 50 this month, the 19th
beautiful, you enjoy this singer when you don't understand the lyrics, that can only happen in music, the universal language
I’ve been to 4 of his concerts over a 30 year span, and every show was awesome. His voice has always been one of the greatest I’ve ever heard live. I’ve been a been fan of his since ‘89 and he still puts on great show at 51 years old.
LUIS MIGUEL IS A LEGEND!🥰🥰😍😍🥰
I've been a fan of him since I was a child and obviously I love his voice. It is interesting to hear your analysis of his singing technique. It is very true what you say, he manages that in each show the audience is in a trance listening to him and it is so until today. Thanks for sharing.

Yes
One of the best songs in spanish!
eduar ed don’t you ever dare undermine Juan Gabriel’s talent.
Juan Gabriel is the more complete artist. He’s the TRUE “Sol de Mexico”
eduar ed lmfao, nobody is comparing their voices except you, and Luis Miguel mighta written songs but not nearly the amount of Juanga’s.
I love watching people enjoy this singer for the first time. He is magnificent.
Hello! i just discovered your channel with this video, luis miguel was
called the latin frank sinatra and even the great frank said he was an
amazing singer, ( he still sings and believe it or not his range has
gotten even higher which is crazy) but that reaction and analyzation was
truly a very good one, i always wanted someone to confirm all the
things and variations he did on that performance, every time sings that
song he has that whole improvisation part and he never sings the same. a
lot of other reactors and voice teachers react to the performance of La
Bikina en vivo after reacting to this video.
Watching 5he voice teacher sweet reactions to Luis Miguel notes is so pleasant. I love Luis Miguel voice he has a strong and very wide range. His dad certainly was a good teacher for him
The voice of this is guy is stunning...
Luis is a brilliant singer and an extraordinary entertainer - one of my absolute favourites - I have bought most of his CD's

Frank Sinatra doesn’t even come close... I’m talking about vocal prowess
I like to watch voice teachers react because I love to see their reactions and passion of what they understand is happening with the voices of many favorite singers. I get those goosebumps watching getting them exited.
Luis Miguel is known all around the world. He never sings one song the same way live. Hi is amazing!!!
Even Pavarotti said Luis Miguels voice is amazing.

He is just amazing, I have heard him since I was a child, he was so young too... He has been singing since he was 10 years old... His vocal range is one of the best.
I’m glad you enjoyed the best Latin singer of all time. You should react to “suave” “quiero” “tu solo tu” all in live performances. You won’t regret it

There’s a version of the song he does (also live) where he’s sick and he still kills it!

He is mexican.... If You don't believe me just ask him...
David Casillas it’s really not that hard to search him up. He got his citizenship in Mexico. But to say Luis Miguel was born in Mexico is misleading.

Yesss! I think it’s so cool that you react to both older and newer performances and not just new, popular ones to get clout.
Luis miguel el mas increíble. !!!!!! Tremenda voz el mejor !!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
LUIS MIGUEL IS THE BEST OF ALL TIME.
The most amazing thing is that he never sings a song exactly the same, he phrases the notes differently every time, but every time the performance is breath taking.
Great analysis! You deserve what’s coming for you: success! Luis Miguel is a latín legend and as you say: he doesn’t fill arenas playing it safe.
You think the C5 is great but actually Luis Miguel's highest note ever sung was a very shocking F6 at the 1986 Viña Del Mar concert the song being "Palabra de Honor"....crazy🤔🤔

Luis Miguel has one of the most beautiful, powerful voices in the world. He definitely sings with his heart. He's pretty much the Latin Frank Sinatra. Just be careful listening to him, it gets very addictive. He started singing at 13, at 14 he won his first Grammy and he sold 140 million albums singing in Spanish only. He's sensacional.
Luis is interpreting the lyrics with those amazing vocals.

I've always wanted to hear an English speaking voice teacher critique LM's voice/singing ability.
In your opinion...would you say he has "the most capable voice" today?
I don't speak Spanish either but LOVE his voice and the accompanying instrumentals.
