We have been in Spring Hill from MA for 5 years now. We finally took some time to explore Brooksville this past weekend with friends and our dogs. We ate at a cute little Dog cafe called Boondoggle’s. Great food and people, then we went for a walk around downtown.

The large, beautiful tree in front of the courthouse, holds a controversial history. While many admire its striking presence, some believe it should be cut down because it was once known as the Hanging Tree, a site where numerous executions took place.😳

How odd, and English dude called Ross in Brooksville. I am also an English dude called Ross and I will be in Brooksville looking at a home on Friday. Do you have any recommendations for the best and nearest beaches to Brooksville and what about some healthy places to eat in Brooksville. Thanks Ross, regards Ross.

Small world. Which part are you from? If you want to just get toes in sand and watch a sunset then you can check out Pine Island about 25 minutes away. Otherwise, for that all day with miles of white sands my favorite is St Pete beach
For food there are some good healthy options at The Bistro

@@LivingInSpringHillFlorida Brighton calling. Thanks Ross, Pine Island looks ideal for snorkeling from. The local Springs are great but the choice is 72c or 80+c... The sea is so much more comfortable. I'll be staying over with my son and checking out the area. A huge difference to Miami!
