    Holy shit an S3, you don't see a lot of enthusiasts with them. Do they have autoprogram, or is it like Simplex where there's no front panel programming at all?

      Late reply but yeah there's bare minimum front panel programming, clearing the program and autoprogram

      According to a 4050-80 vid sometimes they won’t activate at all. 4050-80 did a vid on an e3 and it took 3 tries to activate. Even when it did, it was very laggy. I think Gamewell systems are just underpowered on the hardware level. Notifier uses the same peripherals and it’s lightning fast.

      Nah mines really take 2 days to activate, while me and anya was asleep after doing system test of that, we are waiting for like a day long, until we fell asleep, and the alarm went off.

    Gamewell-FCI isn’t very good in my opinion, especially the panels. Their products just have so many issues and aren’t designed very well. For example, the user interfaces on both touchscreens and tactile displays are extremely unresponsive, clunky (why would you have to hold the lamp test button for the panel to actually reset?), and are poorly designed. The touchscreens are so laggy that it somehow has a learning curve in the form of patience. Plus, velociti is not very good in my opinion. It’s basically FlashScan with the same features but extremely underpowered and rather laggy and unresponsive at times. 4050-80 had one vid on his channel where it took 3 attempts to get the e3 (which is actually better than the s3) to finally trip and when it did, it took a long time to do so. It doesn’t stop there though. Veridian has a very bad rep too. I’ve heard techs complain about the software all the time. Gamewell-FCI is like a really crappy doppleganger of Notifier held together with duct tape and glue.

    velociti does poll slow you just have 2 devices on the loop 💀

    • @FireTech7
      @FireTech7  Месяц назад

      No sir, we do a lot of apartments with e3's and s3's with hundreds of devices, and they poll the same speed as a notifier running flashscan with the same amount of devices
      The newer ones atleast

      Not how it works. You can adjust poll speed via CAMWorks.
